I've just listened to Split Ends a second time and it was almost as good as on first listen! But a few things come to mind to say about the show and also a few things that needn't be said...
Well, on second listen, Connie seemed to fit right in, even her pathetic joke about her nostrils, which was annoying on first listen. It is nice to hear main characters again and again and again on the show.
Jared just seemed to come across better this time around. I don't know why-he's just such a good character!
Mandy and Liz have great chemistry-as enemies and friends, but perferably as friends. They make a good team, along with Jared, and it would be nice to hear them again as such in future episodes.
On second listen, Ollie didn't seem to sound so original. Is he played by the same actor as Ricky in Do or Diet a few seasons back? But Genevieve was just as good and I was holding out for the last scene through all of Mandy and Liz's "Let's become friends again!" mumbo-jumbo.
Well, it was the second-best show of the season (after Eggshells; coming in third is Called On in Class) and it was a good one! I'm not really looking forward to Something's Gotta Change, but I'll reckon I'll live through it.
Edit: 5/10/04: Thinking back on it, I just relized I didn't tell you how much I loved the music in this show! It was fantastic! Of course, if we hear this music in No Way Out, No Way In I'll probably scream!
