I don't actually have much to say about this show expect that it was refreshing to see the Washingtons in a new light. I am really starting to like them yes, even Marvin.
The highlight of this show is rather a weird highlight. To be honest, I rather enjoyed the scene where Tamika talked about a Powerpuff cruise. The music was excellent and the dialouge was well-written and well-acted. Unfortunately, Marvin's scooter didn't seem quite as exciting as Tamika's cruise.
It seems like Marvin has a somewhat fascination with underwear...I really dislike all the recent references to underwear. It just doesn't seem very Odysseyish. Oh well, it's not a big deal...yet.
In conclusion, I liked this show but didn't love it. I suppose I didn't like the ending very much...I rarely enjoy it when they take a line out of a previous show and put it in another show as new. But, I enjoyed it much more than other Washington shows and I hope to hear more shows from them along the lines of this one. Go Bob Hoose!
Edit: 2/24/05-I'm not changing the rating of this show, I'm just saying that it holds up pretty well on repeat listens and is still quite enjoyable. I would be tempted to give it more stars, except for some of the negative aspects, which I mentioned above, and some disrespect shown by Marvin and Tamika.
