Despite being a little boring, the music was really good and suited the style of the episode. The last scene in the episode was also very good. It really did make the episode a bit more important in the saga of Eugene's family. But two positive aspects of a show does not redeem it. The episode wasn't awful, I grant you that; but there just wasn't all that much to like.
Prisoners of Fear and Dead Ends both didn't really excite me. Nothing really grabs me about the search for Eugene's father. Yet most other AIO listeners are praising this story arch. I really shouldn't be complaining. Something about the Search does not interest me. My rating for Dead Ends is 3 out of 5--at least it was better than Prisoners of Fear.
