From Corfu City
San Stefanos (Agios Stefanos) is situated on the North West coast of the island of Corfu
Is a small fishing village,
not to be confused with one of the same name on the North East coast. Agios means Saint in Greek.
This little fishing village has now become a very popular 'up market' resort with many hotels and stylish villas for rent. The bay can is very busy during the day with lots of visiting traffic,and has a glorious sandy beach.
There locals are welcome the visitors with the warmth and hospitality Greece is famous for.
This village is extremely pretty and is situated with the hills sweeping down either side. A car or boat is essential for exploring.
Relaxing evenings can be spent in one of the many Tavernas looking across.
San Stefanos is also an excellent starting point for a number of walks through the hills and olive groves each with breathtaking views of the coast line and local scenery.
Their friendly owners touting for trade.
Mainly attractive to couples but popular with larger families during school holidays.
St Stefanos could be considered as a great 'base' to stay - offering plenty locally to keep everyone happy !!!! |
