This is the view from the train station near Tenryu-ji towards the near-by
mountains. I believe, Tenryu-ji is to the left of the picture.
Tenryu-ji has many homes along a boulevard, which comprise the temple
complex. Monks usually live in these houses and maintain the gardens
within the walls. It is somewhat odd to see the small `death-star'
satellite dishes on some of the roofs.
This is one of my favourite photos I took while in Japan. Not
sure why, I like the colours I guess.
