Seminars

Every year many seminars are organized by Geo-Group. And most of the lecturers are very expert people in Geology. There are many geologists come to visit Oman every year which gives a good chance to meet them and shear knowledge and ideas with them.

This is an example of seminars in 98:
Five seminars were organized by the Geo-Group during the year 1998. The speakers were from the following organizations:
�One of the speakers was Dr. Juma Al-Belushi who holds the honor of being the first SQU graduate to obtain a Ph.D. degree. Dr. Juma motivated the audience by narrating his own journey since the day he enrolled at SQU. At the end, Dr. Juma gave some handy tips how to join PDO after the completion of studies. The last seminar was given by Mr Yaqoob R. S. Al-Hosni, a geology student. It was about the Geo-Group trip to Pakistan.
