Jabal Akhdar Trip

The Geo Group conducted a trip to one of Oman's most fascinating places, Jabal Akhdar. It is about 2.5Km above sea level. Therefore, the area has a very nice weather all months of the year. During winter, the temperature falls below zero. Jabal Akhdar is famous for its terraces (used for agriculture) and there are also some forts and very old houses. The trip was a one day trip started at about 8:00 a.m. on Friday morning. There were 25 students and 5 staff members. Some stops were made at Al-Ain, Hail Al-Gaf and Al-Galil.
