it's the first of august. strange weather today. cool weather and rain this morning...only to turn to slightly humid and hot in the early afternoon. oh, boston. class wasn't bad at all today...we talked about companies in competitive industries today. summer session 2 is coming to a close. for some reason, it feels short? i mean late may feels like a long time ago, but even now that seems kind of short in a way. i've lived in boston for this summer and it was a good time. many different things happened....i think i've grown and changed...maybe my parents might not think i've changed that much...they always want to make sure that i am studying most of my day away, haha. of course i love them. really i do! =] so, in 18 days, i will turn 20 years old. ahhhh......i don't know what to say. rishi turns 20 in 2 days...but he's in china for this week and half of next. oh, i miss my best friend. we haven't seen each other that much at all since summer began and even throughout the year since he was in england this past spring semester. when i return home, we will definitely make it an issue to hang out at least a few hours a day! haha, think we can do that? i hope so. went out for dinner with my favorite chingoooo, yun. good thing we always crave the same type of food. soooo, we went to a korean restaurant nearby the apartment...called buk kyung il. it was pretty good. we thought we were hungry, but we got full fast and brought home half of our food! still there was room for ice cream and slurpees! after, we trekked to blockbuster and rented two movies. i forgot what yun got, but i borrowed bride & predjudice. it's an indian movie somewhat like monsoon wedding, but i remember seeing a trailer for it when i watched bend it like beckham in theaters before. quite interesting. and plus, i love most indian movies! (yayyy thanks to rishi<3))but yeah, i'm probably the only, if not one of the very few, chinese girls who enjoy sappy indian movies, hehe. well there is hrithik roshan...woohoo! when yun and i returned to the apartment we hung out with maiko in her room and talked. and then i saw her cute, life-size pikachu plush....that she told us was attacked by her dog...it's still cute though! just like maiko <3~~ rich comes home tonight, too. =] i'm going to miss living with my wonderful friends. sigh. |
