SOMETHING INSIDE

There's something inside
That makes you go on,
Though the road is rough
And things go wrong.
There's something that lifts
Your heart in song.

The world's in a hurry
Oft' passing you by,
With a lump in your throat
You wish you could cry,
But something inside
Keeps your head held high.

No matter how weary
At the close of the day
There's something inside
That makes you pray
Asking for courage
Along lifes way.

It dwells in your heart,
This something inside
Helping you face life
When you'd rather hide,
It's God's love within you
Always ready to guide.
