ONE DAY AT A TIME

One day at a time! No sorrow so deep
But we can still follow the print of His feet
For one single day, and it may be the last
Ere the hourney is ended and finished our task.

One day at a time! Let us triumph o'eer care
And prove in the valley that Jesus is there,
That others may find Him because our lights shine
As a witness for Jesus one day at a time.

One day at a time, let us travel along
Often through shadows, but always with song;
The song of Redemption that rings in our ears,
Dispelling the darkness and calming our fears.

One day at a time! We do not need more
Than strength for one day, for Christ goes before
Marking our pathway with signs of His love
Making us ready for mansions above.
