IN DAYS AHEAD

I live each day with hopes and prayers
For better days to be
And for the joys tomorrows hold
Beyond what I can see
For, I am sure, I will be blessed
With Heaven's love and care
Somewhere in the days ahead
Between my hopes and prayers.

I will not yield to fates of earth
That man decides by odds
For all my hopes and prayers of earth
Are in the hands of God
And, He may choose to grant each one
At any given time
And make each day a better day,
With blessings that are mine.

So, I shall hope and pray, each day,
For what I hope will be
And wait, for Him, to grace my life
With what I pray to see,
For He will come I know He will
To lift me from despairs,
Somewhere in the days ahead
Between my hopes and prayers.
