COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS

Begin the day with thankful heart,
Rise up to greet the sun.
Count all your blessings large and small,
And name them one by one.

What better way to start each day
Than with a little prayer
Of gratitude to God for all
His goodness, love and care.

You'll know a special happiness
And have a brighter day
For joy and peace will fill your heart
Because you paused to pray.

Then as the day draws to a close,
Before the night is o'er
Count all you blessings once again
The morrow will bring more.
