BIRDS

by: Helen Gleason

The robin on the wing
His happy tune does sing,
The mockingbird goes on
With endless different song.

Each bird upon the tree
Is different and unique,
With multicolored feathers
And different color beak.

Created by a God
This symphony in air
By Him Who made the universe
A God that really cares.

Such beauty all around
For all to hear and see,
The wonders of creation
For all of us are free.

We see His handiwork
Wherever we may be,
In earth and land and sky,
In every flower and tree.

He clothed the earth in beauty
His wonders for us to share,
Put there for you and I,
This God Who really cares.
