REACH OUT

A pat, a hug sincere and true
Can help a friend who's sad and blue.
And the moments that are spent
Together, be a complement.

One may never know how much
A handclasp or a friendly touch
Can mean to someone in despair
When we show concern and care.

Restoring hope when there is none
Is half the battle and can be won
By a simple act of love
Given with God's help above.

So reach out while there still is time
To change the outlook and the clime,
To one of peace and happiness
With a bit of cheer and tenderness.
