TOMORROW BEGINS WITH TODAY

by: Mary S. Chevalier

When we make preperations for tomorrow,
We assuredly must begin with today,
For our thoughts and the time for our actions
May elude us if we squander them away.

Kind words that we know should be spoken
Or Steadfast words of praises we should sing
These never should be shelved 'til tomorrow,
For who knows what tomorrow may bring?

God has given each of us words to live by,
He has given each the working tools he needs.
Let us use these to carve out our own lifetime,
And help others through our words and our deeds.

If we all are to have our tomorrows,
Then wisely we must use our todays,
And may God grant to each a desire
To work with Him willingly - always.
