JOYS OF LIFE

We often dream of carefree years
When youth with rich rewards
Endeared each day with joyful hours,
We cherished and explored,
But these are joys beyond recall
To live anew, and play
And must not be the joys of life
That fill our hearts today.

Each day is meant to bring new joys
For each of us to share
And strengthen bonds of love and faith,
Totender to our care;
And it is meant for us to seek
God's joys of holy kind
And fill our hearts with joys of peace
That youth was blind to find.

We must forgive who made us cry
FOrget the verbal stone
And live within the laws of God
Each moment that we own;
For He awaits, with His rewards
That pale our joys of youth
And to fulfill, for each of us,
