THE AUTHOR

I'm getting to know the author
of a book I daily read,
I'm hoping to be more like Him
as on His words I deaily feed.

He tells me things about myself
and shows me how to live
Without my old and sinful ways
He tells me, "I forgive."

I go in fellowship with Him
and in my daily prayer,
I open all my heart to Him
In close communion there.

He answers me, "Now, go in peace"
As from my knees I rise,
I've found the answer to my life
My Savior, Jesus Christ.
