BE MY MASTER TODAY

Lord, be my Master today
And go with me where'er I go,
Guard my lips each word I say
And let my light to others show.

Lord, be my Master today
And let Thy will be mine,
For You know what is best for me
And the hills that I must climb.

You know the burdens that I must bear
And the joys to come my way,
So give me the wisdom to accept it all
And be my Master today.

Lord, be my Master today
And let me be Your child,
Send Your angels to encircle me
As I travel each weary mile.

So let me follow You, Lord,
And not go any faster
Than Your footsteps will lead me...
Today, Lord, be my Master.
