JUST A PRAYER AWAY

Whenever you are discouraged,
Your world seems cold and grey
Whatever your care or sorrow,
God's just a prayer away.

He shares your every heartache,
And knows your smallest need.
There is never an earnest prayer
To which He gives no heed.

No cause then to dread the future;
He'll always be with you.
Accept now the peace He offers
And it will see you through.

For He never will forsake you
He knows you've done your best.
You can depend on His promise;
Trust Him to do the rest.

Though storms and fears may beset you,
He'll guide you through each day.
He will cherish and protect you
God's just a prayer away.
