ENTRUSTMENT

I ask Thy grace from day to day
To live and work in gladsome way;
To yield my life as though it be
the final step to eternity--

Help me obey the things You taught
Be clean in action, pure in thought.
Take Thou, my heart and let it be
admonished for eternity--

If living would demand its toll,
And strip from me, my very soul,
Forgive me, Lord, Thy glory be
replenished for eternity--

You gave me breath it's Yours to give;
Please know me, Lord! Each day I live.
Take Thou, my hand, and walk with me
the final step to eternity--
