WITHIN MY VALLEY

by: Rosa Anderson

Lord, I'm content with morning sun
And soft darkness when day is done,
Tallest pines swaying on the hills,
Meadow daisies and daffodils.

Lord, I'm thankful for gifts of love,
Like painted blueness in sky above
All the beauty my heart can hold
Is in the days You weave of gold.

You send the breezes dancing free
They kiss green leaves upon the tree
Then frolic off to swelling field
To sip a taste from friendly rill.

From all the places I have been
I now return to tranquil glen.
This is the place I feel Your touch
Lord, You have given me so much.
