GOD'S WORLD

by: Garnett Ann Schultz

A curtain blowing in the breeze,
A bird that sings in April trees,
A sunbeam lending gentle light,
A star within the darkened night.
Perhaps a walk in springtime rain,
Frost pictures on my windowpane,

The wave that rushes the shore,
The magic of the ocean's roar.
An Autumn leaf that falls to earth,
The miracle of life and birth,
A sky of blue on Summer's day,
A snowflake as it melts away.

A quiet moment all your own,
A faith and peace so surely known,
A spoken prayer to God above,
A thankful heart, a world of love,
A book to read, a song to sing...
God's world - a world of little things.
