OPEN MY EYES

Open my eyes, Lord
That I might see
The world with greater clarity.
Open my heart, Lord,
So I might learn
To care for others with more concern.
Open my ears, Lord
And I will catch
The subtle sound of silent distress
And then, Lord,
Help me to be
A steadfast follower of Thee.
