TODAY IS THE DAY

Today is the day of beginning
To do the best I can,
For I never shall have this moment
Or be given this chance again.
Today is the day of beginning
To be what I want to portray.
For the rest of my life will be molded
By the action I take today.
Today is the day of beginning
Of eternity for me.
In the Book of Life is my record,
How shall it look to THee?
