CLOUDS

by: Philip M. Hotchkiss

Have you felt your spirits soar
As you reached up to the sky?
Have you wondered at the myst'ry
Of the clouds that drifted by?

Have you marveled at their whiteness
Like the newly fallen snow?
Have you watched them swirl in darkness
As the winds of Winter blow?

Have you glimpsed their time of joy
As they hover o'er the sea?
Have you seen them shed their tears
For things that could not be?

When you think about the clouds
And how they came to be,
You'll see the hand of God
As it rests on you and me.
