Dear Lord...
I love to be alone with You
In simple adoration,
To sift together purest thoughts
In quiet contemplation!
When I am all alone with You
My very soul takes wing,
And songs of praise and beauty pour
From deep within
To cover every smallest thing!
I willingly embrace the world,
My faith and strength renewed
In trusting as a child again,
Whenever I take the time,
Dear Lord, to be alone, with You!
