EYES TO BETTER SEE

The loveliest gift one can receive
Is the gift of a singing heart,
For this will lift the spirit up
And give our day a start.
Another priceless blessing
Is to hear His gentle voice,
And then to scamper freely
And with Him in tune rejoice.
There are other sparkling jewels
If we would but recognize.
They would pave our pathway brighter
Erase the blindness from our eyes.
There are numerous gems around us
Like a pattern weaved with care.
If we'd just be still in quietness
Then, our God, with us will share.
Share from his magic treasure
Prize jewels of every size.
But appreciated only...
If you've eyes to recognize.
