In case you aren't an old friend, but you still managed to stumble into this site, I'll tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up in Speedway, Indiana (within walking distance of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway). I've been to every Indy 500 since I was 10 years old, as well as all of the Brickyard 400, IROC, and F1 races that have been held there. I shoot motorsports photography as a side job/ hobby, and I have done photo work for several race teams and drivers. I have an extensive collection of race memorabilia. I love anything that involves adrenaline! I have flown aerobatics in a World War II "Texan" fighter plane, raced karts, drove a chase truck in the Baja 1000 off-road race (2001), hiked in the Arctic Circle (where I saw the grizzly bear in the photo to the left of this text), rode a bicycle from Indianapolis to Mackinac Island, Michigan, and many other unique activities. There is something about a challenge that really gets my blood going! Some ideas for upcoming adventures include hiking through Scotland to tour castles, a great white shark dive, or possibly a HALO parachuting jump (jumping from 30,000 feet, as opposed to the normal 8-10,000 feet).
Hockey is something else I enjoy- I am a season ticket holder for the CHL Indianapolis Ice, and I often submit photos to their website. You can see some of them in the fan forum section at www.indianapolisice.com.
