LADIES MINISTRY
What prompted the start of the Women's Bible Study? Several women who attended the "Just Give Me Jesus" revival with Anne Graham Lotz in Cleveland, Ohio returned to Gentle Shepherd with a heartfelt desire to meet together to study God's Word in greater depth.  A women's bible study was established at Gentle Shepherd Church of the Nazarene in the Fall of 2002.  The study of Scripture drew the women closer in their relationship with God and formed bonds of support between the members as daughters in Christ.

What do the studies consist of?
The women have focused on in-depth scriptural studies, including the Passion week of Jesus, in order to prepare their hearts for the Easter Season in 2003.  Recently, the women studied the "Breaking Free: Making Liberty in Christ a Reality in Life" series by Beth Moore.  This was a detailed study that included a video supplement.  Max Lucado's book "God Came Near" was another devotional that spoke to the hearts of each member in the group.  Future studies include "Living Beyond Yourself: Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit" by Beth Moore.

How long does each series last?
The length of the studies ranges from a few weeks to several months.

Who can participate?
The Bible study is for all women.  Current members range in age from young adult (early 20's) to the young at heart.

When are the meetings?
The women meet on Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:00 at the church.

How much does it cost to participate?
There is no fee to attend the Bible study.  However, each person is responsible for purchasing their own materials.

Why should I attend?
We want
you to catch the excitement about what God is doing and what He can do through the study of His Word.  If you have been searching for something to satisfy the hunger of your heart and soul, then join us for a time of reflection in God's Word.

Who do I contact for more information?
