Dear Friend,

The purpose of this letter is to help you get acquainted with the capabilities of Dr. Ellestad. I know what these capabilities are because I worked side by side with him for a period of six years. I witnessed first hand what a co-operative patient and a skilled health practioner can accomplish when they work towards a common goal, that of wellness. The body is a "great healer" when we provide it with the proper conditions to do so.

So the next key thing that is essential to obtaining "optimal" health knows what conditions the body requires getting back to this state. Few of us are knowledgeable enough to know how to go about this. This is where a "health practitioner" is needed who does have the knowledge that we lack to regain "wellness". Not only does it take a person of knowledge, but also a person with integrity and the guts to put their patients through what is necessary to heal a deadly or chronic disease.

Dr. Ellestad's life focus is to help people get well. He has the knowledge, the skills and the “gentle” healing hands to accomplish this goal. One of the skills he uses is called Applied Kinesiology. The word…kinesiology" is derived from the Greek and generally translates as "study of motion". T o the applied kinesiologist the body functions as an integrated whole and must be treated as such. Our body provides five avenues of diagnosis and/or therapy to the applied kinesiologist. These are: 1) the nervous system, 2) the lymphatic system, 3) the vascular system, 4) the cerebrospinal fluid, and 5) the meridian system.

The originator of this 35-year-old specialty was Dr. George Goodheart and what he discovered was that each large muscle relates to a body organ. A weakness in a muscle usually means that there is a problem at the energy level in the associated organ and this becomes a quick and powerful therapeutic tool, a system of feedback from the body itself, which gives the health practitioner information that can be applied immediately to begin proper treatment. This specialty also allows the patient to share fully in the responsibility for being well.

Dr. Ellestad discovered that this skill combined with his knowledge of the nervous system, allowed him to help people who suffer from allergies. He pioneered a treatment of allergies that is quick, painless, and effective. His work with allergies led to another discovery concerning microwave ovens. Be sure and ask him about this!

I had the great privilege of watching many people achieve wellness under the care of Dr. Ellestad. His clinic was sought out for many health concerns, a few being:

*Learning disabilities
*Allergies
*Multiple Sclerosis
*Headaches
*Heart
*Carpal tunnel syndrome
*Asthma
*Lupus
*Blood pressure
*Vision
*Back pain
*Strokes
*Fertility
*Dyslexia
*Cataracts
*Heart
*Hernia
*Chronic infections
*Phobias
*Diverticulitis
*Epstein Bar
*Ears
*Ulcers

Dr. Ellestad has another skill that a limited number of health practitioners share. That skill is referred to as cranial therapy, which is reshaping the skull. Dr. Ellestad calls this procedure "nasal specifics." Every one of us would benefit from this therapy at the time of our birth as that is when major misalignments of the bones of the skull occur, when the head passes through the birth canal. No herb or vitamin can overcome the effects of the cranial malformations. Did you know that 80% of your nervous system is inside your skull? Your skull bones are not rigid, but have many complex joints so these plates can become jammed or misaligned and cranial therapy corrects this. Since the skull is the home of the central nervous system (the brain), when you correctly align the skull bones this improves functioning allover the body! Patients have improvements in such areas as: vision, learning capabilities, hormone function, physical attractiveness, and nervous system function, and benefits go on and on.
