The Deathbuster problem

         After getting rid of the Black Moon menace, the Senshi decided to make their every-day forms attend to school more. After all, the high school entrance exams were approaching. But, this decision was not to be followed. YEA, you guessed it! New enemies on the horizon! This time, the struggle will get even more serious. New battles were about to start.
          It all started when the girls were studying together (well, actually, only Ami was, others were more or less asleep...especially Rei and Usagi). Looks like Rei found everything too boring and fell asleep. But, she got a very weird and scary dream...well, you can call it a nightmare, BUT the thing happened during the day...so, let's say it's a daymare. Anyway, the world was lit up in a weird, scary red light. Everyone except for Rei was turned into stone. Some black tornado was tearing up the whole city. Then, Rei saw a four-pointed crystal, and she said something about the Messiah who would save them. But the crystal shattered-split into 3 parts and disappeared. The tornado continued it's destruction. Rei woke up (and Usagi was snoring in her ears...yep, these two have at least ONE thing in common). But, the explanation of this dream will follow throughout the story.
          In a creepy dark underground laboratory, Doctor Tomoe was working on his first demon egg. But, before we carry on, let's meet the Doctor. His wife and his daughter Hotaru died in a lab accident. But then, a demonic figure, Mistress 9 appeared, and offered a deal. If Professor Tomoe was to sell his soul to the dark force Pharaoh 90, Mistress 9's master, Hotaru would be revived. Tomoe accepted. But, Mistress 9 did not tell him that she was about to inhabit Hotaru's body. I mean, this was so evil. They use a DEAD girl and her desperate father to accomplish their devilish plans, THAT IS SO LOW! SHAME ON THEM! HMPH, they deserved to be defeated! Now, let's get back to our story.
          Tomoe finished that demon egg, it flew out of the sewer and somehow went into a tree at Hikawa Shrine. The demon was supposed to get a pure heart, actually a talisman-3 of them were needed to form the Holy Grail (and remember, the crystal in Rei's dream shattered into 3 little pieces...) which the bad guys could use to get Pharaoh 90 into our solar system. And then Pharaoh 90 could start the Silence (read it: The end of the world as we know it). But, little did Tomoe and his assistant Kaolinite know that someone else was in search of the talismans...later about this.
          Usagi got a low score again. And, she bumped into Rei on her way home (just what she was afraid of). But, instead of telling her what a loser she is, Rei encouraged her, saying that Usagi has many good points beside studying. Now, this was not the normal Rei. Then, Rei and Usagi had a nice, calm chat about their future dreams. I think this is the moment when Rei shows her true self. She might act mean from time to time, but she really cares for her friends. Whenever she is concerned, worried, or depressed, she acts so friendly. As Rei came back to Hikawa Shrine, she tried to fiugre what her dream meant. But she couldn't feel anything. When trying it with a fortune and a tree, the demon hiding inside it awakened. Rei ran off, and tried to transform, but the demon trapped her and started to get her heart crystal out. Usagi came by and heard Rei's screaming (oh man, why the heck didn't the bad guys at least make things less painful??? SHAME ON THEM again!), so she transformed. But the demon was kinda too strong. As Ami, Makoto and Minako ran in and tried to help, the demon trapped them as well. But, then Tuxedo Kamen threw a rose at it, and Sailormoon had a chance to attack. But, her attack was not successful. The demon stroke back, biting into her brosch. And ruined it, the Ginzuishou (Here we go again!) in it stopped shining, and Sailormoon untransformed. The demon got Rei's heart crystal out, and Rei collapsed. Usagi was really sad at this point...anyway, as the demon was about to give the crystal Kaolinite who just showed up, something hit it. And then another thing stroke, submerging and killing the demon. Two mysterious figures were up in the tree, examining Rei's heart crystal. As they concluded that it was no talisman, they tossed it back. It dissolved, returned to its proper place and Rei woke up. Usagi was crying, she was so happy. As Kaolinite returned to the lab, reporting to the Doctor that there was some unexpected resistance, the girls concluded that a new battle was about to take place.
          But they were handicapped-Usagi's transformation brosch was ruined. But after the next clash, things were better again. In the combat, the Senshi were helpless. Tuxedo Kamen also got struck down, and told usagi to run. But she refused, and stepped towards Mamoru. And, wow! The power of love made the Spiral Moon Rod appear. And, there's more! Usagi's brosch transformed into a heart-shaped one. Usagi got a new Henshin, Sailormoon got a new attack (Moon spiral heart attack), and with it, she managed to kill the demon.
          YAY, we're back on track! Sailormoon can bust them Deatbuster demons again! Anyway, little did the Senshi known that they were not alone...in the next fight, two new Senshi appeared. They were the first two Outer Senshi, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune, in every-day-life Haruka Tenoh and Michiru Kaioh. More than just friends, they are a lesbian couple (this might never be mentioned by words, but it IS obvious! Ah well, nobody's perfect.)...but hey, Haruka is such a tough woman, she can almost be considred as a man...ACTUALLY, the girls DID mistake her for a guy at first! So, Uranus and Neptune's mission was to find he 3 talismans and the true Messiah. 3 pure-hearted people would have to die for it, but that was of no importance to those two...how inhumane. But somehow they got lucky when the 3 talismans were together, but later about this. But, the fact IS that already from beginning on, it looked like the Inners and the Outers would come to some major disagreements (that's EXACTLY what happened...later!).
          On the other side, Tomoe and Kaolinite didn't give up. The demons continued their destructive jobs, they also got their hands on Makoto and Ami's heart crystals, but none of them was a talisman, so...they lived. On another occasion, Uranus and Sailormoon had to team up. You see, Uranus didn't care when Neptune was in danger, she had to go on with the mission alone, BUT Sailormoon somehow managed to make Uranus team up with her (A LOT OF HELP from a demon-it cuffed Sailormoon ad Uranus together, so they couldn't walk away from each other, they HAD to work as a team). Neptune was saved, and pretty surprised that she was saved by Sailormoon.
          Well, and then Kaolinite found out Usagi's second identity...and also sent a demon on her to take her heart crystal. And her heart crystal was thought to be a talisman, but it was actually not. It was just Usagi's purity that made her heart crystal shine so bright. Anyway, Kaolinite revealed her intention of killing Usagi and Sailormoon while Uranus and Neptune were there and they were like: "WHAAA? SHE is Sailormoon?" But then someone said that Usagi was not Sailormoon, and there stood the "real" one, just that she had the voice of Sailor Venus, and her hair was not-so-odango-like, it was more like a but changed Minako's hair...I WONDER WHY (well, actually I don't, I know why). So, with some quick thinking the girls managed to keep Usagi's and their secret a secret. On Usagi's face, there was an expression that made me almost die laughing when she saw the company. And, Venus almost gave hereself away, Jupiter and Mars had to quickly cover her mouth...and, to make Kaolinite think Usagi was not Sailormoon, they started insulting her (VERY UNWISE!!! Usagi might have done mething stupid because of anger. Oh well, they got lucky, Usagi managed to hold herself back) but then Luna told Usagi to transform, but Uranus and Neptund didn't see it. So, the original Sailormoon was back, killing the demon AND freeing Tuxedo Kamen who got trapped in the fight. The demon WAS defeated, but the combat was not over yet. Kaolinite's final battle was about to begin. She created some sort of shield, and the only way to get through was Sailor Planet Attack, but she was also constantly attacking the Senshi, so they couln't do anything. Until Tuxedo Kamen faced Kaolinite. So, the Senshi managed to strike Kaolinite down, and Uranus finished her off (literally, she finished her off Tokyo Tower). So, Kaolinite was as good as dead. No better. Tomoe found it out.
          Well, looks like Tomoe's assistant is gone for good! (actually not, but LATER about this part as well...) So, he had to fid a new person to accompilsh the evil deeds. He called an agency, or company, or whatever, called Withces 5. And the first of those 5 (actually 6, but two of them work togeter...LATER!) witches was tot ake Kaolinite's plac. Her name was Eudial. And, she had a little less painful way of removing the heart crystals. Well, at least it didn't last that long...she used some bazooka-like thing to shoot at the victim, knocking their heart crystal out in a moment. But, though luck, already the first time when she used it, Rei and Usagi saw it (they were sneaking around for something, as I said those two DO have a lot in common, no matter how they act towards each other!). But, they got trapped by Eudial's demon. But then, some voice stopeed the demon, and that was the voice of Sailor ChibiMoon. Sailormoon and Mars were speechless. Anyway, ChibiMoon used her attack, but that has two major weaknesses. First, it often doesn't work at all. Second, even when it DOES work, all it does is annoy and confuse the demon. But, it's still a good tactical weapon. Sailormoon and Mars got free, and Sailormoon could get rid of the demon menace.
          So, Chibi-Usa was back, in a Senshi form! Neo Queen Serenity told her to go to 20th Century to train more. And, she noticed that the future Senshi act very like the 20th Century Senshi. So, there have another Senshi! The pretty Sailor Senshi-in-training, Sailor ChibiMoon. Of course, she had to train more. She's a young one! The youngest of them all (Chibi Chibi is something more than a Senshi...but about this, in the Shadow Galactica's section). Well, the new Senshi had a chance to show her skills again quite soon. Eudial didn't rest, and she found her next target. She somehow broke in in some tea ceremony (and I thought tea is something important only in England...oh well, looks like every day we learn something new). Of course, Usagi, Chibi-Usa, Mamoru, Haruka and Michiru were around. Anyway, the next heart crystal was no talisman again. And the demon didn't last long either, even though ChibiMoon had to fight alone for a short time, Sailormoon and Tuxedo Kamen soon took care of things.
          A bit later, we get a flashback of Haruka becoming a Senshi. She did it to help Michiru. And from then on, they were on a mission, not caring about what consequences it might have (I mean, those about killing 3 people). And just a little later again, Chibi-Usa fell in love. Of course, you don't need to guess who was Eaudial's next victim, isn't it obvious...the boy Chibi-Usa liked, of course! But that was taken care of as well. Eaudial's next target was Minako. Things got complicated here, as Usagi had to transform in front on Haruka and Michiru if she wanted to help Minako. And Haruka and Michiru were like: "Whhhaa! She IS Sailormoon, Kaolinite was telling the truth!" And it might be for this, the first conflicts between the girls were about to start. And, it was obvious, when Haruka and Michiru transformed into Uranus and Neptune...now Sailormoon was the shocked one. They managed to get Minako out of Eudial's hands, and to defeat the demon. After that, Michiru and Haruka were talking. Well, they still like the girls, but the mission comes first, too bad!
          But, in Tomoe's lab, Eudial made a major research breakthrough! Well, not really, this just sounds more dramatic. She found out who had the first Talisman. She couldn't believe it, but at this point, nobody except for her knows (not even the viewers). She knew she had to act quickly, because she had a potential enemy inside the Witches 5 corporation/agency/company/whatever, that was Mimette. Anyway, Eudial also found out Uranus and Neptune were Haruka and Michiru. She invited them to some place.
          To make things even more complicated, Haruka stole Usagi's transformation brosch (now THIS is where Neptune and especially Uranus REALLY started to get on my nerves). But, Usagi followed those two. And, good thing she did, they were in a lot of trouble! She was also encouraged by Setsuna Meioh, so, she went there. But in the cathedral, Neptune got trapped by Eudial. Uranus got a message from Eudial-Neptune was the carrier of the first talisman. She couldn't believe it (now THAT MADE HER THINK! Her lover should die for the cause of talismans? Though decision, but hey, you get what you deserve! I was somehow glad that things turned out this way, so Uranus and Neptune WERE punished for their earlier arrogant behaviour). And just as Uranus made it to Eudial and Neptune, Eudial blasted Neptune and obtained her talisman. Just then, Usagi rushed in, pushing Eudial off. Uranus explained the whole story in short, returned Usagi's transformation brosch and then shot herself, and her heart crystal turned into the Space Sword, the second talisman (by the way, Neptune's is the Deep Sea Mirror). Just as she did that, the others came in, watching the creepy scene. And in the background, there was Setsuna. Now WHAT was she doing in such a dangerous place?!, you'll ask. Hey, they weren't even in the chatedral yet. In there, Eudial's final battle was on. Sailormoon had quite some problems, bacause Eudial powered up her Fire Buster. Then, the other Senshi and Setsuna dropped in (well, actually RAN in). Setsuna told Eudial to give the talismans back, then she transformed into Sailor Pluto, the third Outer Senshi. On her Garnet Rod, there was the final talisman-the Garnet Orb. The other two and this one floated up, got together and formed the Holy Grail. And Uranus and Neptune survived the whole thing (oh well, looks like they will tear up the Inners's nerves a bit more). But, Eudial grabbed it imediately. Also Tomoe noticed that something happened. As Eudial tried to battle Sailormoon, she encounterd a problem-Sailormoon touched the Grail and transformed Super, so Eudial was powerless and escaped. While driving, Mimette called her, telling that her duty was over. Yep, that Mimette hypocrit ruined Eudial's brakes, so Eudial was doomed, she drove off a cliff and died. BUT WHY THE HECK DIDN'T SHE TRY THE HANDBRAKE??? IT MIGHT SAVE HER LIFE! Oh, wait a sec, I shouldn't be holding with bad guys...but seriously, every sensible person would try the handbrake.
          Anyway, Eudial was finished off and not to be heard from again. Witch numero 2 of the Withces 5 stepped into action. Doctor Tomoe had a brief conversation with the Messiah of Silence (this is NOT the Messiah the Outers were looking for) who said that she needed a pure heart to feel better. So, Tomoe decided to use new types of demons who would just swallow the heart crystal and bring it to him. And, just as Mimette started, Chibi-Usa met Tomoe's daughter, Hotaru. And they became very good friends. Good for Hotaru, she didn't have any because of her powers to heal wounds. At this time, Hotaru was not yet controlled by Mistress 9. On the other side, the arrogance of the Outers (ESPECIALLY Uranus) was continued. Those three concluded that since they're more powerful than Inners, they don't have to cooperate with them. HOW VERY UNWISE! Mamoru warned them, but did they listen? NOOOOO of course not! Well, they MIGHT if Uranus was not so damn arrogant and bossy.
          Already in the next battle, it was obvious that powerful individuals (like Uranus and Neptune) can't accomplish as much as a team of a little less powerful individuals (like the Inners, Sailormoon and Tuxedo Kamen). The next demon could easily block the World Shaking and the Deep Submerge by Uranus and Neptune, so the Inners had to take care of it. Tuxedo Kamen warned the Outers again, but they kinda still didn't listen. Menawhile, Mimette was working in the office of Witches 4 company/agency/corporation/whatever (YEP, it had to be renamed after Eudial's death!). Anyway, her next attack failed as well. But, Tomoe was like "there's always tomorrow". Weird, I thought the bad guys were impatient. Anyway, the MAJOR complications were beginning.
          Hotaru started to be taken over by Mistress 9's evil power. Oh yea, and in Tomoe's house a woman named Kaori appeared. This was actually Kaolinite, she got resurrected! Good for her? Not really, she'll be dead again soon. Anyway, Hotaru and Chibi-Usa still managed to be friends, on the other hand, the Outers just wanted to see Hotaru dead, especially after the Saturn planetary sympol appeared on her forehead. You see, Sailor Saturn is the Senshi of destruction. And with her being taken over by Mistress 9, things COULD get VERY annoying. So, the Outers chose just to blast Hotaru, but Sailormoon performed a GREAT rescue action and saved her. She didn't want anyone to get killed. Uranus was VERY mad at her, but Pluto kinda understanded Sailormoon (that's why Pluto is my fav Outer Senshi...and Saturn).
          Well, in the bad guys camp, Mimette's days were also over. She wanted to use some machine to get more powerful, but the next Witch, Tellu pulled the plug and that kiled Mimette. So, the company had to be renamed AGAIN-to Witches 3. But hey, Tellu didn't last long. Already in her first battle, she used some man-eating-plants (now don't get me wrong! A man eating a plant is just a man eating a plant, but man-eating-plants are dangerous!), but the Senshi dropped in and caused so much confusion that Tellu's plant ate her mistress...only 2 Witches left now.
          Witch #4, Viluy used her nano-robots to get the heart crystals of EVERYONE inside the Mugen Gauken (Infinity Academy) out, except for those who weren't using a computer. So, The Senshi had another thing to take care of. Mercury transformed in front of Viluy, so that bad woman told her robots to attack, but just then the others made it in. After doing that "punish you in the name of Moon" scene Sailormoon finds out that the robots are being controlled by a microchip on Viluy's arm, so she uses her attack to destroy it, and the robots were so confused and attacked Viluy (now where did something like that happen before???). And, Viluy was removed from this world. So, looks like the company/agency/whatever had to be renamed to"Witches 1" or maybe "A Witch" or something like that.
          But the final Witches (yep, there were TWO of them) were also the toughest. Cyprine and Ptilol, the twins, they always attacked together. And to make things even WORSE, Hotaru got taken over by Mistress 9. And she demanded a pure heart. So, they took Chibi-Usa's. Mamoru had to stay by Chibi-Usa and use his own lifeforce to help her survive. The Senshi had to battle. And it was difficult! Cyprine and Ptilol easily absorbed or reflected the attack of the Senshi. So, those five used another strategy. They started pushing, tackling, and commiting other soccer fouls (YELLOW CARD, RED CARD!!!!-yep, if a soccer referee was near, all of them would get ejected, really), until Cyprine and Ptilol fired at the Senshi, but they jumped out of the way and those two baddies found themselves in the line of each other's attack and killed each other. That was the end of Witches 5.
          The final battle against the dark forces was closing fast. As the Outers decided just to kill everyone inside the Mugen Gauken, the Inners chose to infiltrate the building, defeat the bad guys AND save Hotaru and Tomoe. As the Outers flew there with a helicopter, they got caugt in an electromagnetic field of negative energy. Pluto was forced to use her Dark Dome Close (Time stop) attack. BUT one thing gets me! SHE MANAGED TO SURVIVE THIS EVEN THOUGH SHE HERSELF SAID THAT SHE WOULD HAVE TO DIE IF SHE USES IT. Becauser thos was the most forbidden act for her. She survived, and in the Stars series, she was back. But, about this in the Shadow Galactica section.
          The Inners found themselves in trouble-some demons grabbed Sailormoon, so they couldn't use the Sailor Teleport. So, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus decided to try and hold that demon barrier back and formed their own perimeter. Uranus and Neptune made it in, Sailormoon got caught and taken in as well. And, first things looked good! Uranus and Neptune managed to destroy the demon that was contoling Tomoe, so he got turned back to good. But, Hotaru was completely taken over by Mistress 9. And inside the body of the Messiah of Silence, a battle began. A battle between Hotaru Tomoe and Mistress 9. Sailormoon knew it and she knew that Hotaru can get back. But, Mistress 9 tricked Tomoe who thought that the Holy Grail would help Hotaru, so he asked Sailormoon if she could give it. She did, also being tricked by Mistress 9. And that EVIL trick made her able to get Pharaoh 90 intto our solar system. But, as Tomoe was back to normal, he started talking to Hotaru. And Hotaru started to regain control. Uranus and Neptune tried to kill her, but Sailormoon stopped them again. Those two were SOOOO MAD at her, but too weak to do anything, so they just collapsed. And when Hotaru finally got back so much that the face of Mistress 9 changed, Uranus and Neptune couldn't believe it. The struggle inside was starting to get serious. The black star sign on her forehead kept coming and going, and while she was Mistress 9 she tried to finish Hotaru's soul once and for all, but when she was Hotaru, she shattered the darkness inside her, and also the black star on the forehead. Mistress 9 was defeated, Hotaru was back! Now they only had Pharaoh 90 to deal with. Hotaru first gave Chibi-Usa's heart crystal back, then transformed into Sailor Saturn and told everyone that she would sacrifice herself to destroy Pharaoh 90. Sailormoon wanted to help, but since she couldn't transform Super, Saturn didn't let her. So, Saturn jumped into Pharaoh 90 and Sailormoon was desperate. She kept trying to go Super, without the Holy Grail. And wow! Actually she was given the power by the others so she COULD do the impossible! And she entered Pharaoh 90 as well.
          We have NO IDEA what was going on in there, but as it exploded, Sailormoon was back, holding a sleeping baby-Hotaru was reborn. Chibi-Usa was very sad because Hotaru was gone, but Setsuna told her that she was reborn and still here, then left. As Chibi-Usa lost her hat, a man at the bottom of the hill had it. She went there to thank him and get the hat, and recognised the man as Hotaru's father. And he was holding the baby. And the baby wanted to touch Chibi-Usa, who remembered what she was told by Pluto, and told Tomoe to take care of the baby until they meet again.
          But the most arrogant two among the Outers were not that happy. As Usagi and the girls approached, they started insulting them and challenged them. So, they all transformed. Sailormoon told the others to stay out of it, and when she got hit by Neptune and the others tried to help, Tuxedo Kamen's rose stopped them. NOW WHY THE HECK DID HE DO THAT??? The answer follows...in the battle Sailormoon was doing quite well. But then, Neptune grabbed her and Uranus was ready to beat the hell out of Sailormoon, when the power of Sailormoon knoked them both back. Uranus and Neptune were finished, saying that they're glad that Sailormoon showed her power. The Messiah was found and the world was saved. But, Sailormoon again didn't do the math so she HAD to ask who the Messiah was. Uranus couldn't believe it. Then, she just said that they all will see Hotaru again, and then Neptune and Uranus left.
          Chibi-Usa was about to leave too. But, one Deathbuster demon survived, don't ask me how! So, the Senshi had to fight again. Not very successfully, though. As they were struggling, ChibiMoon was back. She had another letter with her. Looks like she got back from the future again. They were happy to see her again. And the team WILL stay together. They defeated the final demon, and the danger was over. For a while. The Deathbusters were defeated, but we all know that this is not yet the end of all the Evil.
