SEASON 2000
Pre-season '00. The BAR team realised that they were too optimistic in 1999. So, they set more reasonable goals for 2000.
Interlagos '00. In the qualifying session,a poorly fitted Marlboro advertisement sign fell directly in front of Jean Alesi's car. No damage caused, luckily.
Melbourne '00.The Arrows team was doing great on the race, until things started falling apart-LITERALLY! Pedro Diniz's front suspension just kinda fell off the car, and Eddie Irvine got caught in his spin off as well. So, the team quickly pulled Jos Verstappen out of the race as well-security reasons.
Barcelona;Nurburgring '00. Rubens Barrichello performs poorly with Ferrari. But why? Well, they all have excuses, hehe.
Monte Carlo '00. At the St. Devote turn, 6 racers went off. Heinz-Harald Frentzen, Alexander Wurz, Gaston Mazzacane, Riccardo Zonta, Pedro Diniz and Ralf Schumacher. Ralf badly injured his leg when he crashed. But why would 6 people crash on the same turn???
Imola '00. After the race, Rubens Barrichello started complaining about the Ferrari team, since Schumacher had a better car than the Brazilian.
Montreal '00. Ferrari pits: ";Hey, can Barrichello win?"; ";NO WAY! Schumacher must win!!!"; Probably something like that was going on...when the rain started, the team didn't put wets on Barrichello's Ferrari, but on Schumacher's? OF COURSE! And they call that team work, yea right...
Magny-Cours '00. David Coulthard has quite some trouble with Michael Schumacher. As he passes him, he shows him THE FINGER! And Coulthard won in the end, anyway.
Silverstone '00. Rubens Barrichello has the performance of his life. Interlagos might be his home race, but he knows Silverstone the best, so naturally, he can perform better there. He did everything perfect, got the pole position, lead most of the race...but then he was passed by David Coulthard and a few laps later he did a spin off the track. Yep, he SCREWed up!
Hungaroring '00. Benetton's drivers Giancarlo Fisichella and Alexander Wurz. Who's better?
Interlagos '00. Michael Schumacher has it VERY easy-rivals nowhere in sight.
Hockenheimring '00. Eddie Irvine along with Jacques Villeneuve and David Coulthard critisizes Schumacher's overaggressive driving and tells Schumi that he should ";start taking me seriously";. Just a few days later, Irvine shows up with blonde-dyed hair (Villeneuve's example?).
