big room crowds into some deeper gear. "This Is True" is a truly deep cut,
with a blend of warm bass, lush synths, and grooving beats, with a great
male spoken vocal snippet giving that extra little something. Fresh N Low
sink their teeth into the cut by toughening up the beats, reworking the
bassline, and adding some great new synth lines, taking it more to the
peaktime floor crowds. "I Want You" completes this 4-tracker, a percussive
houser with some great vocal stabs permeating the mix atop atmospheric

Del-5's "The Booty People" is the latest offering from everyones favorite
techhouse outfit End Recordings, here we have a 2 tracker drenched in the
retro stylings that have been reigning with producers such as Teifschwarz
and benny Benassi. But while the elements are similar, Del-5 take this
sound in their own direction creating a personalized style that really fits no
one category. Side A's original Kingsland Mix would be at home in a peak
set at Ministry or Crobar or in a down as well as a dirty loft party. On the
flip, The Big Booty dub, drives a bit more straightforward with a thumping
kick and hypnotic acid bass line. But as the melody and dub vocal samples
come in, the quirkiness is retained.

release. With "Orfeu Negra". Paying homage to the classic Brazilian
flim,Paiva uses the melancholic of sound of the singing singing saw over a
deep driving afro house groove that would sound right at home on
Osunlade’s Yoruba label. Paiva himself offers three versions, one with saw,
one without and a bonus beats for those who like to work the vinyl. On the
flip, Orfeu gets a rerub by Bugz in the Attic’s own Seji, who is quite hot at
the moment. Reworking the tune into a west London style Broken beat
Groover, Seji mix takes the connects the past with the future of Afro
flavored rhythm. And Last up is a lo-fi hypnotic and repetitive mix by the
rednose district out of Amsterdam. Deep and dirty, a soundtrack to the back

Nigel Hayes delivers a deep tech house excursion again his special
production sensibitites. The A side has the original album version and a
unique vintage edit. Both tracks center on a simple sold house rhythm and
a fluttering arpegiated synth melody that both gives an edge and
dreaminess simultaneously.
On the flip is a reinterpretation of Nigel’s previous single “Augustus” from
the extremely gifted âme crew out of the rising Sonar Kollektiv stable. Their
version contains properties attributable to ancestral Carl Craig or I:Cube
classics, but has still an unmistakable “nu” âme feel to it. Bubbling
syncopated bass move through solid synth stabs over subtly mixed yet
potent drums. A must for fans of the this German Crew of the moment.

Marco puts some more efforts in the journey for a better dancefloor,
delivering us a killer three tracks ep again blending the grooves of Detroit
techno, Chicago acid-house, and Italo-roman electronic dance. The synth
line that drives the first track is quite hard to be forgotten and it becomes
huge when some rhythmic chords a la Lil' Louis come in. The second track
is all about a massive funked up Chicago-like beat where a deep sub-bass
and a crazy synth line mess up all around. Third track is a more melodic,
but still groovy tune, where new wave chords and typical early techno
basslines get together perfectly.
