Starting out:
I was born in Dexter, Maine, where I lived until the death of my father, when I was uprooted to Machias, Maine.
I went to school in the grade school building (what is now UMM's Power's Hall). I graduated from High School and joined the Navy.
Settling Down:
While in the Navy I married, and settled down in Machias. After the Navy I worked at the local Sears Store, when I was let go, I then moved my family to Porland, then to Yarmouth, and the to Lisbon Falls, where we bought a trailer, we lived there happliy, then we had a change to move into a house and we tool it, the move was small from Lisbon Falls to Lisbon, but it was the last place we were all together.
Some things I like to do:
I like to do are: fishing and deer hunting. my family and I used to go camping every summer for most of the summer. We even had to pet Chipmunks Called Chip and Dale they would always come and sit on the rock near the fire and eat what ever we left for them to eat. They wre spunnky little guy. I would also get up everymornign with my daughter Cherie and we would go fishing to gether to caught lunch or supper before anyone wlsle got up and then the day would begin.
Worked:
During this time [despites moves] I was working at Bath Iron Work (BIW) as a welder. I remained there until 1999 when I decided to move on, now I am retired.
Presently:
live in Machias, Maine with brother.
