The Arrival :

Hello. My name's Kacie. I was once an ordinary kid at school. But oneday, that all changed. I had just bought a digivice(the toy one)and wasplaying with it. It started to glow! Before I knew it I was in some strangeworld. I got up and looked around. 'Strange' I thought as I slowly climbed tomy feet. Then I noticed something strange by my feet. A digivice! But it wasdifferent. It was hard to tell how. Next to it was some sort of tag necklace. I slipped the odd neck wear around my neck and slipped the strangedigivice in my pocket. Before I got even ten feet away, I heard a strange voice calling me. "Hey, wait up!" I screamed because that voice came from asmall monster. She looked like a Koromon, but the ears were more pointed andwere black-tipped. She smiled as she bounced to me. "I've been waiting foryou, Kacie!" "Just wait . . . hey! How'd you know my name?" I asked. But thecreature didn't answer. The digimon said, "We're partners! I'm Yoshimon!" Yoshimon landed in myarms. I stared hard at the digimon. "Yoshimon? And that means?" Yoshimonsmiled. She told me it means 'Good Monster'. "That's obvious" I said. Justthen, I heard a growl."It's the 9th digidestined!" I heard the voice say. Outpopped at . . . Gazimon! Gazimon hissed when he saw me. "Electric StunBlast!" He cried, releasing a wave of electricity at me! "Bubble Boom!"Yoshimon commanded, blowing bubbles at Gazimon. "Yoshimon! No! You're no match for him!" I yelled to my new friend. Butshe wouldn't listen. She kept attacking Gazimon even though he was stronger."Take this!" He said and struck Yoshimon. She fell down. "NO!!!" I cried,then heard a ringing sound. It was coming from my digivice! It was glowing!"Yoshimon, digivolve to . . . Kanmon!!!" There, right in front of my eyes,was Kanmon. She looked a lot like Agumon, except bigger. She had small blackstripes on her back and black rings on her arms. She charged at Gazimon. "Electric Stun Blast!" He cried, but it missed! Kanmon moved in, then .. . "Pepper Fire!!!" A fireball shot out and hit the Gazimon. It burned himup pretty good. Sobbing, he fled back. I rushed over to Kanmon and hugged hertight. "What happened?" I asked, looking at the Agumon-like digimon. "I digivolved, thanks to you." She pointed towards me and my digivice. I pulledit out and stared strangly at it. Then I heard voices. Kanmon and I ran to abush and jumped in. Out came 8 kids and 8 digimon . . Shimimon Is Born : 'The DigiDestined' I thought as I saw the kids come out. They were tired.Kari and Gatomon sat down. Tai yawned. "Now, what did Genaii say before?" Joeasked. Matt told him, "He told us to keep our eyes peeled." Mimi wasconfused. She turned to Sora. "Why?" Sora turned around to see Mimi. "There'sanother DigiDestined." This got Kari and Tai's attention. "Another one?" Thesmall girl asked. "Yep." Tai answered, looking down at his sister and smiled.Gatomon smiled as well. That's when I realized that . . . they were lookingfor me! I started to back off. Tai told the others that they must find the child soon. Genaii appeared. "Hello, ya all." He said. Matt immediantly ran over. "Genaii, where is the9th child?" Genaii looked puzzled for a minute. He finally answered. "She'sclose by." "It's a girl?" T.K. asked. He seemed to be a little disappointed.Matt looked at his brother and put a hand on his back. "Well, who is it?"Once again, Genaii didn't know. He disappeared, leaving behind a frustratedgroup of people. I didn't know what to do. Then I noticed that Kanmon was missing!"Kanmon!" I whispered. "Kanmon, where are you?!" I then saw her walkingtowards the DigiDestined! I told her to come back, but she didn't listen tome at all! Suddenly, Kanmon stepped onto a twig. SNAP!!! "What was that?" Tai asked. Sora moved closer. "I don't know." Gomamon, which I found a little toocute to be a monster, looked right where I was! "It came from over there!"Suddenly, Kanmon showed herself. "That's a weird Agumon." Agumon said. Kanmon seemed angry and she hithim. "I'm not Agumon! I'm Kanmon!" This really gotten all those kids' mouthsopen. They then saw something else. Biyomon and Palmon walked over. Icrouched back, trying to stay hidden. 'I'm the 9th DigiDestined, right?' Ithought to myself. Kanmon walked over, too. She whistled for me to come out.I did. I felt like running away right then. All 8 kids and digimon were lookingat me! "Uhh . . . hi! My name's Kacie." I lamely said at last. I was standingnext to Kanmon. The tag I was wearing glistened. Izzy got close to me andobserved my tag. I snatched it back."What?" He asked to me. Tai walked overto me. "So, you're the 9th DigiDestined? Well, don't be afraid of these guys.They're . . ." I smiled and added, "Digimon : Digital Monsters." Everyone,including Kanmon, stared at me. "H-h-how did you know what we are?" Gatomon asked, confused. I said, "Well, I already know a lot about them. In fact, thedigimon besides Kanmon here are Agumon, Biyomon, Palmon, Gatomon, Gomamon, Gabumon, Tentomon, and Patamon. Their digivolved forms are Greymon,Birdramon, Togemon, Angewomon, Ikkakumon, Garurumon, Kabuterimon, andAngemon. There's more I know." When I was finished, all of them stared at me. They wondered how I knewall about digimon. I even told them about Devimon, Etemon, Myotismon, Shellmon, and Monzaemon even though I've never encountered them. Tai was dumbfounded when I told him that Agumon was a vaccine-type digimon and hisattack is Pepper Breath. But then, my tag started to glow . . . "My tag! It's reacting!" I screamed as I looked at the tag, glowing aradiant blue-green. "Come on! Your crest is nearby!" Matt yelled to me. Taipulled me up and Sora urged me to run to where my crest would be. I knew whata crest was, but I never knew how to find one. I found out how. The hard way.I got mad at my new friends for pushing me. We ran and ran. I was gettingtired. I didn't want to run anymore. Just then, a growl was heard. "Oh, no!"I said, pointing towards a blue digimon. I added, "It's VDramon!" VDramonlooked at me. He knew I was the 9th DigiDestined. He moved in to attack."Sting Blast!" VDramon cried. The attack heading towards me! I jumped out ofthe way. I crashed to the ground. Kari and Gatomon helped me up. "Agumon, digivolve to . . . Greymon!!!" Greymon fired a Nova Blast, but VDramon was too strong. He flinged the attack back at him! Greymon fell down and devolved back into Agumon. Tai rushed over to his friend. It was the same with every digimon. I watched them get beaten. Even Gatomon gave it a shot and wasdefeated! 'What should I do?' I thought as I saw the fight. VDramon wasmoving in to attack Izzy and Joe, who were trapped. Gomamon ran up and said,"Marching Fishes!" But it didn't do anything! VDramon picked up Gomamon andlaid him down out of the way. Strange. Then VDramon cried, "Sting Blast!" "No!!" I yelled and ran between them. "Aaaaahhhhh!!!!!" I screamed as I got hit. I fell down. Kanmon saw thisand ran over to me. Luckily, the attack wasn't strong and I was able to getup. Wincing, I glared at VDramon. The huge digimon roared and moved in toattack. But I didn't budge. I just stood there. Then my digivice started toring again! Tai and Matt saw Kanmon. She was glowing. "Kanmon, digivolve to .. . Shimimon!!!" Tai was shocked at what he saw. He saw Shimimon, who lookedlike a Greymon, but with different stripes and with green plates likeTyranomon's. Shimimon stomped towards VDramon. "Sting Blast!" The blast hitShimimon. She staggered, then fought back. She charged and slashed him hard.She unleashed, "Piercing Blast!!!" A spikey ball shot out of her mouth. Ithit VDramon hard! He fell down, defeated. Shimimon devolved back into Kanmon. "Where is it?" I asked almost an hour later. We wandered through thewoods, looking for my crest. We couldn't find it anywhere! Before I couldblow my top with anger, I saw a strange marking. Gabumon and Gomamon lookedclosely at it. Gomamon said, "It's a crest, I think." I smiled slyly at him,then turned to Tai. "That's a crest all right, Kacie." I was told to put mytag against the crest. I did so, and the "rock" glowed and shrank into acrest. It went inside my tag. It looked like a deformed leaf. The "leaf" hada bar on the left and right, the top and bottom. "What crest is this?" Iasked to Kanmon. She happily replied, "It's the Crest of Humanity." "TheCrest of Humanity?" I knew that that would fit me, since I am the only one inmy family who wouldn't hurt a spider if my life depended on it.It was night and everyone, except two, were asleep. Tai, Kari, and Gatomonlay huddled together near the fire. Sora and Biyomon were laying beside tree.Everyone else was scattered around. I wasn't asleep. Neither was Agumon orKanmon. I watched the two digimon. 'What are they up to?' I asked in my head.I pretended to sleep and watched them. Kanmon was sitting next to Agumon, whowas blushing from nervousness. "Why ya nervous?" Kanmon asked. She, too, wasblushing. I could tell they like eachother. "I . . . I don't know." Agumonreplied. "It's just shocking that an Agumon-like digimon like yourself shows up." They talked for a while. What happened next was so shocking I couldn't believe it. Kanmon and Agumon said 'I love you' to eachother and . . . heh,heh, heh!Morning soon came. I had taken pictures of Agumon and Kanmon hugging. I hid them in my pockets. 'These are priceless!' I laughed in my head. I held theCrest of Humanity in my hands. I wanted to make it glow, but I knew that Ihad to wait. I thought about what Shimimon's digivolved form was. I was so indream-land that Mimi had to hit me twice to snap me out of it. My eyes lookedas if I saw something interesting. Matt walked over to me. "What did yousee?" "Last night?" "Yes" Matt said to me. Kanmon and Agumon both looked ateachother and blushed. "I didn't see anything!" Tai didn't believe me. Hereached into my pockets. He pulled out pictures. They were pictures of Agumonand Kanmon . . .Love Grows Deep :Tai's eyes grew wide. His mouth dropped and his face grew white. I growled athim and snatched the pictures away and put them in my pocket again. I glaredat Tai, who was frozen in shock. Luckily he was the only one who saw thepics. Matt looked at Tai curiously. "Hey, Tai. What'd ya see?" He was stillin shock. He stammered, "I . . . I s-s-saw A-a-agumon and . . . Kan-ka-kanmon. . ." I threw my hand over his mouth, silencing him. "Don't say a word!" Ihissed at him and let him go. I looked over to where Kanmon and Agumon were.I winked at them, letting them know that I wouldn't show anyone the pictures.They smiled back and looked at eachother.I'll tell ya, I'll regret taking pictures of those two. Agumon and Kanmon,ever since I arrived, have stuck together like glue! I mean, you couldn't getthose two to go away from eachother for one minute without them saying thatthey missed eachother. Geez! That must be some love between them, eh? Well,anyway, what happened after that day was a nightmare for us all! Our new enemy appears."So, which way?" I asked. Tai pulled out his mini telescope and looked to, tomy knowledge, was south. "It's that way!" Kari was next to me. She smiled atme and asked, "So, Kacie?" "Yeah?" Kari asked, "How do you know about digimonanyway?" This stopped everyone in their tracks. They, one by one, looked atme. I wasn't ask how I knew about digimon. I've never told them how. Now thisreally interested them. Izzy said, "Yeah! How do you know?" T.K. added, "Yeah." Soon all the kids ganged up on me! Well, not really. They just surrounded me.I turned to Kanmon. She also wanted to know. So I spilled the beans. "Yousee, I come from a different Earth. There, there's a virtual pet calledDigimon : Digital Monsters. They're very popular. You can train any digimon.You can raise an Agumon, Gazimon, Patamon, Angemon, Garurumon, Unimon, Ogremon, Piemon, MetalSeadramon, Ikkakumon, Zudomon, Gatomon, HolyDramon, VDramon, MetalGreymon, Devimon, and much more. This is why I already knewabout digimon before I arrived." Once I was done, all of them stared at me,mouths wide open in surprise. I saw Joe walk right up to me."What? That's how you knew?" "Yep." I looked to the ground, then at Agumonand Gabumon. I smiled weakly. "Well, now you know." I turned to walk away.Tai and Sora rushed over to me. "Wait! Don't go!" Tai cried and Sora grabbedmy arm. I stopped. I glared at her. At this time, I had real troublecontrolling my emotions. "LET GO!!!" I blurted out suddenly. I pulled my armfrom Sora's grasp. "Kacie . . ." Tai tried to say, but I screamed, "LEAVE MEALONE!!!" I don't know what came over me. Just then, a roar was heard. Karijumped up and looked to her right. She screamed as she saw a digital monstercome out."Well, well! It's the 9th DigiDestined!" Out came a digimon. I don't know howbig. He was a champion. "I'm Fukamon!" Fukamon was very dangerous, as Iheard. She's one of the newest digimon. He walked a few feet up. "I haveorders from MetalDevimon to kill you, Kacie!" Kanmon leaped in front. "Oh,no, you don't!" She fired a Pepper Fire at him. Agumon joined and fired,"Pepper Breath!" It did no effect! Fukamon growled. He cried, "KillerSting!!!" He shot a pin at . . . me! Agumon yelled, "No!" He jumped in frontof me, blocking the path. Kanmon and Tai yelled, "Agumon, no!" But he didn'tlisten. The pin intended for me hit Agumon hard. He fell to the ground, hurt."Agumon, noooo!!! No!!!" Kanmon said and rushed over to him. She knelt byAgumon and cried. Tai and I glared at Fukamon."Hey! What'd ya do THAT for?!" I screamed at him. Fukamon just laughed. Taigrew angrier. "YOU think THAT'S funny?!" He ran to him and tried to punchhim, but he was thrown back. "Not so easy, is it?" Fukamon taunted. "Agumon!Wake up! Please . . ." I heard Kanmon say. Tears were in her eyes. I felttears come in my eyes, too. She was nudging at Agumon, who wouldn't move atall. I began to get worried. Then I heard, "Now to . . . finish him!" Fukamonshot another Killer Sting at Agumon. Kanmon yelled, "Pepper Fire!!!" Theattack destroyed the pin. But it didn't make Kanmon feel any better. She hadto digivolve for me . . . and for Agumon. Filled with hatred, Kanmon began toglow. "Kanmon, digivolve to . . . Shimimon!!!" In response, Gomamon joined in."Gomamon, digivolve to . . . Ikkakumon!!!" The two digimon ran to Fukamon."Peircing Blast!!!" "Harpoon Torpedo!!!" The attacks wiped out Fukamon. Heran backwards. The digimon devolved back into Kanmon and Gomamon. Kanmon ranback to Agumon. "Agumon . . ." She said softly, laying a hand on Agumon'shead. His eyes shook open, and he saw Kanmon. "Kanmon?" He said weakly andtried to get up. But he fell back down. "Are you okay?" She askedworriedfully. The others were standing back and watching what was happening.Agumon weakly shook his head."No, I'm not . . . okay." Apparantly, the pin had poison in it. It was lethaland was intended for me, but hit poor Agumon instead. Kanmon lifted Agumon inher arms and held him close to her. He was becoming weaker and she wasbecoming sadder. "Please, Agumon. Don't go." Agumon smiled and said, "I won't. . . go." Kanmon smiled, too. Just then, Agumon's head dropped on her chestand his body went limp. "Oh no!" This broke Kanmon's heart. "Agumon! Agumon .. . Agumon!!! Don't leave me! AGUMON!!!!!!" But Agumon was gone . . ."NOO!!!" Kanmon screamed and cried onto Agumon's lifeless body. Tai wasupset, too. He walked over to his fallen friend. "No." He whispered sadly.The other digidestined walked over to the limp Agumon, in Kanmon's arms. "It. . . it can't be true." Kari whimpered. Everyone was very sad. I couldn'ttake it! My Crest of Humanity glowed slightly. "There's just gotta be a wayto . . . hey!" I said, bringing all attention to me. I normally have beenquiet. Too quiet, if ya know what I mean. "What?" T.K. asked. Mimi and Joewere next to me, tears in their eyes. "Well, there might be a way to bringAgumon back." This made Kanmon a little happier. "How?" She asked. I rubbed my hand and continued, "Well, I've been reading upon psychic powers. I've learned how to use SOME of it, yet I'm stilllearning. I have a toy digivice with me. I'm training an Agumon. There mightbe a way for me to use my powers to channel the digital Agumon to this Agumonand restore his power. But I'm not sure if it'll work." I looked to theground, then at Kanmon. She was determined to get Agumon back. "Could you atleast try?" Joe asked. I nodded and walked over to the dead Agumon. I tookout my toy digivice, not the real one, and placed it on Agumon's chest.I concentrated hard. I focused mind over matter as best as I could. My Agumonwas slowly turning into light. The light penetrated through Agumon's skin. Heglowed a radiant gold for a few minutes. Then the light died down. The toydigivice lay shattered into peices. I threw it away. Kanmon watched closely,then . . . "K-k-kan-kanmon?" Agumon said weakly. He was so startled whenKanmon screamed with delight that he jumped up and fell back down. Kanmonhugged Agumon tight. They smiled at eachother. I didn't see what happenedbecause the other kids dragged me from the scene. "They want some privacy,okay?" Tai told me. I got mad, but knew he was right. We walked away, leavingbehind to love-struck digimon. All I heard was Kanmon saying, "I thought Ilost you, Agumon." Agumon replied, "I'll never leave ya, Kanmon."

Murizumon's Sail Strike :

Morning soon came. Tai and Agumon had to hit me about 100 times before I gotup. Oh well. I always was a deep sleeper. I pulled myself up, still deaf, andlooked around. Everyone was gathered around in a circle. They were prettyannoyed that I slept for quite some time. I smiled weakly and walked to them.What I wasn't expecting was another visit from Genaii. Even though I didn'thear him I was able to figure out what he had said because all of the kids'mouths were open. There was a 10th DigiDestined! 'This is interesting' I thought and smiled. Kanmon hopped to my side. Agumon was next to her. 'Iwonder if they are planning on marriage?' I asked myself."Where do you think the Hearing Herb is?" Matt asked Tai. He didn't know.About every 10 minutes, more like seconds, all the kids would be looking atme, waiting for me to tell them if it's it or not. I shook my head, no manytimes. They were getting depressed. We sat down to rest. Something caught myeye. I looked to my right and saw something. Kari looked up at me and asked,"Is that it, Kacie?" I smiled and nodded, yes. Tai was looking at me. I ledhim to where the Hearing Herb was. I pointed at the plant. "That's it! I knowwhat a horsetail looks like, so that must be it." I said blankly, hoping Isaid the right thing since I couldn't hear myself talk."She says it's these!" Tai screamed to the others. Matt picked up one andgave it to me. 'I hope this is it.' I said to myself and I ate the horsetail.I didn't like it at all! It tasted like rotten mushrooms mixed in with dirtysocks and spoiled milk! But I had to take it, to restore my voice. I wasrelieved when I swallowed. Matt was looking at me, waiting for something tohappen. "Say something." Mimi said. I suddenly burst out, "Say something?! Ican't even talk you . . . hey I just talked!" I guess I wasn't payingattention at that time. Matt smiled. Kanmon hugged me tight. I smiled back.Then, a rustling was heard. We all turned to our left. Out stepped a kid anddigimon . . .I stared in shock. The girl was . . . my sister, Jana! She was with a smalldigimon with a horn on her head and a short, tiger-like tail. I stared withconfusion. I saw that Jana, my sister, already had her crest. "That's theCrest of Peace." Jana's digipartner said. I looked at the creature. "Who areyou?" Palmon asked. Tentomon looked closer. "That's a rare digimon calledPuchimon. She's very small and shy, yet very friendly." "Puchimon?" Janaasked. "Where are we?" "You mean, 'Where am I?' You're in digiworld."Puchimon smiled up at her. I walked right up to her, then Matt asked, "Who is she?" "Guys, meet Jana, my sister." Kari and Tai looked at eachother. Mimiand Palmon stared at me."You two don't look alike." Tai said. I glared at him. Jana blurted out, "Andyou and your sister don't look too much like eachother, either!" "Hey!" Anangry Kari shouted. I screamed, "STOP!" That brought about quite a bit of'hushes' and 'huhs'. I blushed, then saw a glow from one direction. "Lookover there!" I pointed towards something. Agumon and Kanmon walked overcloser. Then something knocked them back! A digimon came out. "I amCandlemon. Don't mess with me and my fire attacks, puny ones!" Candlemonlaughed evilly as he grabbed Kanmon. "Kanmon!" I screamed. "KANMON!" Agumon screamed. Puchimon jumped up. "Pink Bubbles!" Puchimon tried to attack him,but she was pushed down. Jana cried, "PUCHIMON!!!" She ran towards her."Kanmon, let's see if ya can handle this!" Candlemon said. "Pepper Fire!"Kanmon attacked Candlemon, but being partly fire, it did no effect! "Kanmon,watch out!" Agumon said, trying to free himself from Tai and Joe's grip onhim. Candlemon yelled, "Flaming Candle Shot!!!" The flame shooting out of himhit her dead on. Kanmon fell to the ground. Agumon cried, "ON!!!" He rantowards her. "There's gotta be something I can do help them." A weak Puchimonsaid, looking at the battle. "Marching Fishes!" "Poison Ivy!" The attackswere failing! "Lightning Claw!" "Pepper Breath!" "Blue Blaster!" No good! Noteven Biyomon Spiral Twister and Patron's Boom Bubble were enough."That's it! I've had enough!" Puchimon bounced to Candlemon. "Puchimon, comeback." I heard my sister say. Puchimon refused to back down. "Pink Bubbles!"The bubbles hit him, but did no damage! "GRE . . . Flaming Candle Shot!!!"Puchimon shot out of the way and begun to glow! "Huh?" Jana asked,dumbfounded. "She's . . . digivolving!" Gomamon cried. "Puchimon, digivolveto . . . Murizumon's!!!" There stood Murizumon. She looked like Gomamon with Gabumon's horn. Her claws were pink. She had a sail on her back and a Gazimon-like tail. She also had light purple stripes and with fur. She glaredup at Candlemon. "You're bigger now! Oh, I so scared, not! Flaming Candle Shot!!!" Murizumon just jumped out of the way."Yes, be scared!" Murizumon said, smiling. She moved in to attack. She curledup in a ball. Aiming herself towards Candlemon, she said, "Sail Strike!!!"She flanged towards him. She hit Candlemon hard. He staggered to the ground.Murizumon curled up again. "Sail Strike!!!" She hit him again. He went flyingbackwards. Murizumon smiled with triumph. "Told ya to be scared." She turnedto the others. Gomamon's mouth was wide open. "What?" Murizumon asked. "Oh,nothing." He answered. But that look in Gomamon's eye meant . . . love!The Miracle:Without realizing it, I heard a chuckle. It came from . . . me! Oh, well!Murizumon was still looking at Gomamon in a strange way. HMO . . . I wonderif . . . nab! It couldn't be. Could it? My mind was interrupted when I suddenly heard "KANMON!!! KANMON!" It came from Agumon, who was still bentover Cinnamon's motionless body. "Oh, no!" I screamed, running towards myfallen friend. "Kanmon . . ." I whispered. Everyone was celebratingCandlemon's defeat, then stopped and looked at me, Agumon, and the seeminglydead Kanmon. "IIS she . . . ?" Agumon asked, tears filling his eyes. Joeplaced a hand on her heart, and felt nothing! Murizumon's head dropped.Gomamon's head did the same. Tears filled everyone's eyes. But no one wassadder than Agumon."There had to be something I could have done!" Agumon cried, about 3 daysafter the accident. We placed Kanmon in a box somewhere nearby. It was ourlittle memorial for her. I shook my head. "There wasn't anything you could'vedone, Agumon." But I was still mad at myself. Patron and Palmon huggedeachother, sad. Gabumon and Tatomon were also crying, so were Biyomon,Murizumon, and Gomamon. Sora, Tai, Matt, and T. K. had tears in their eyesstill while Joe, Izzy, and Kari were trying to regret it. That's when I heardsomething. I jumped up. "What's wrong?" Matt asked. Mimi saw what I saw."Over there!" She screamed, me pointing the direction."Nation! She's . . . one of my created digimon!" I said, looking at the blackdigimon. "You are right, puny one." Naitomon smiled evilly. Agumon ran upand, "Pepper Breath!" A fire ball shot towards him. But did no effect!Murizumon came up. "Sail Strike!" No effect either! I told them to stop.Naitomon was an ultimate digimon. "Agumon, digivolve to . . . German!!!" ThenTai's Crest of Courage glowed. "German, digivolve to . . . MetalGreymon!!!"MetalGreymon stomped over to Naitomon. "Gig Blaster!" Two missiles shot out,and right for Naitomon. But he just laughed. "Night's Shadow!!!" Jana asked,"What's that?" "His attack. But he started to glow! "Oh no!"I cried. Mimi screamed. Kari and Tatomon hugged eachother, afraid. "Naitomon,digivolve to . . . Agnomen!" Agnomen stood over Tentomon. "Time Strike!" Hehit her hard. I learned that my camera wasdestroyed when Digimon attacked with Fin Claw. Oh well. Tai and Kari werestill staring at me. It was as if . . . they didn't believe me! A smalldigimon! "Huh?" I walked over to the blue and metal digimon. "Hello." "AYH!"He screamed. "Who are you?" "I'm Kacie. And you are?" "Kittenmon." Kittenmon was kinda cute, in his own little way. I limped up to a seat that was in the cell. "What does Metal Tin-Head here want me for?" I asked Kittenmon. Heanswered that I had the Crest of Humanity. There's something about my crest that MetalDevimon wants. But what? I didn't know. Then, I made a mistake. "Well, I wonder if I-have-a-tincan-for-a-brain metal head there will tell mewhat he . . ." I turned around. MetalDevimon was glaring at me through darkyet bright eyes. " . . . wants . . . my crest . . . for." I finished meekly."She couldn't have gone far." Tai said. Matt was next to him and so was T.K.Kari and Gatomon were searching the sides of the path. Patron, Biyomon, andTentomon took to the air. The group spotted something. My necklace! "Hey,it's the metal necklace Kacie was wearing! She must be nearby!" Izzy said.They then spotted my mood ring, stained with blood. "Oh, no! She isn't . . .dead, is she?" Matt asked. Sora shook her head. "She's not here. But . . ."That's when a digimon came out. "Hey, ya guys looking' for the kid who hasCrest of Humanity?" The little digimon was Legomon. Mimi turned to him. The Crest of Humanity is the only crestthat if used in the evil way will operate an evil version of Koromon,Graduation's digivolve form." Sora gasped. "We gotta get her out of there!"Legomon smiled. He turned around and looked behind him. Two other rookiedigimon were there. They were Floramon and Bookman.Meanwhile, at the castle, things weren't going very well. "How dare you callme that!" MetalDevimon yelled. I glared at him. "What do you want me for?!"He just laughed evilly. Kittenmon hissed slightly. I frowned at the largedigimon. MetalDevimon explained to me that my Crest of Humanity can operatean evil Koromon if it is used evilly. "No! You will not get me to do that!" Iprotested. I threw a rock at MetalDevimon. But he aimed his guns at it and,"Laser Bomb!" It destroyed the rock! I gasped and cringed back. MetalDevimonopened the cage. He dragged me over to a bed and chained me to it. Istruggled to get free, but to no avail!"Now, all I have to do is control you and I will be able to destroy theDigiDestined!" "No!" Kittenmon cried. MetalDevimon grabbed my crest and putit into a machine. A green light engulfed into it. He brought it back to me,then took my digivice. He did the same thing with it. Before he put them backon me, he injected some kind of black stuff into me. He carefully slipped mycrest back on and my digivice. I felt weird and strange. Everything seemedblurred. Then, a red shade covered my eyes. I felt evil swerve through my body. I had a hatred towards the DigiDestined. "Oh, no!" Kittenmon cried. Iglared at him. "Humanity Ray!" I shot a beam at him. He went flying out ofthe window. I laughed evilly. MetalDevimon laughed, too.Floramon sensed something. Looking up, he saw Kittenmon land right on top ofhim! "Get off!" He said, pushing the digimon off. Bookman walked over with Legomon. "Kittenmon? What happened?" Jana and Puchimon stood close by. "Where's my sister?" Kittenmon seemed depressed. Something was not right.Matt, tears in his eyes, asked, "Is she dead?" "No." Matt seemed happy, untilhe heard what else happened. "MetalDevimon put evil into her body, now she isa walking killing machine! She doesn't know anyone she already knew. Shedidn't recognize me. She used her Crest of Humanity to send me here! Ibelieve she called it 'Humanity Ray.'"Legomon gasped. Kanmon put a hand on her mouth. "Oh my God! That doesn'tsound good!" Tai agreed. He suggested that they go to rescue me. Janaclutched her Crest of Peace. Looking at Puchimon, they stomped over to thekids. "We will get Kacie out of there!" Puchimon smiled. "Puchimon,digivolve!" "Puchimon, digivolve to . . . Murizumon!" Sora protested. "Youguys are too little to do it. Leave it to us bigger kids, Kay?" Jana wasn'tvery happy. That's when laughter, my laughter, filled the area. Tai, Matt,Sora, Mimi, and Izzy stopped dead in their tracks. Kanmon, Gomamon,Murizumon, and Joe stared in horror at what it was. Kari, Gatomon, T.K., andPatamon were huddled close to eachother, afraid. Out of the shadows popped .. . me."Well, well, I found you!" I scoffed. Kanmon walked up to me. "Kacie, don'tyou remember me?" I ignored her and pushed her out of the way. "Listen!" I ordered. "Master MetalDevimon wants you to surrender, or pay the price!" Tai,glaring at me, pushed me back. "What price is that?" I growled and shot abeam at him. He fell to the ground in pain. "I will operate the evil Koromon,DarkHououmon, and destroy you all! Ha!!!!!" "Ho . . ." Tai moaned. I wished Icould've stopped doing this, but I couldn't. I was obsessed. "Well, Do yousurrender?" Gatomon hissed. "No way!" Murizumon nodded in agreement."Murizumon, digivolve to . . . Hashamon!" I laughed, even while seeing twochampion digimon in front of me."Water Horn!" "Lightning Claw!" The attacks headed straight for me. I smiledevilly and started to glow. "Psychic Wave!" I screamed, sending the attacksback at Hashamon and Gatomon. They screamed and fell back down. Hashamondevolved back into Murizumon. "Gatomon!" Kari rushed over to her digimon.Looking at her, I aimed my hand towards her. "Humanity Flare!" A thin lasershot towards her. "Kari, look out!" Tai screamed at his sister. "Huh?" Kariturned to see what it was. Before she could react, the laser shot through herside. "Ha!" She screamed and fell to the ground. "Kari!" Gatomon and Taicried, rushing towards her side. "Kari?" Tai whispered, picking Kari up inhis arms. But Kari seemed to be dead. "Oh, no." Sora said. Mimi tearfully asked, "Is she . . . is she dead?" Tai cried hard into Kara's chest. "No. No!No!! Please Kari, don't be dead! Please!"

The Humanity Of Myoumon :

Well, those two were together throughout the night. I slept next to Matt andT.K.. Don't say a word! Agumon and Kanmon were practically on top ofeachother! Finally morning came. I woke up to find myself laying on Matt!Blushing I lifted myself up and backed off. I turned to Kanmon and Agumon. They were awake and looking at me. They had seen what I knew and that made mea little mad and embarrassed. But those were not the only ones who saw!Everyone, including Matt, knew I was sleeping on top of Matt! I turned red asthey all, except Matt, Kanmon, Agumon, and the other digimon, started tolaugh. I still haven't gotten over the habit of crying when someone makes funof me or the habit of moving in my sleep.Only Matt and I were blushing. All the other kids were laughing. I walkedright up to them and growled, holding my fists up to them. Tears of hatredand sadness streamed down my face as I glared at them, warning them not tolaugh any longer. "STOP LAUGHING!!!" I roared, out of control. Matt grabbedmy arm, but I slipped out of his grasp and attacked Tai. We crashed into theground, me on top of him. I grabbed Tai's arm and pulled hard on it. He criedout in pain. "You're breaking my arm!" I hissed back, "Only 'cause I can'treach your neck!" "Kacie, stop!" Kanmon said and pulled, with Matt, Sora,Kari, Agumon, and Gatomon, from Tai. I brushed myself off and glared at them.They, except the digimon, looked away."That Kacie," Sora said to herself, "she's strong." I cooled off and forgotall about what had happened. But I remembered when Tentomon flew over with Patamon and Gabumon. "Hey." Gabumon said. Patamon asked, "We want to knowwhat's wrong with ya." Tentomon nodded. "That's right!" I just looked away,ignoring them. I didn't want to talk. Not now. "Hey, Kacie! Hello?" Tentomonasked. "Patamon to Kaciemon, do you read?" That made me ticked off! I turnedaround, preparing to yell. But instead I screamed. An evil digimon was here!Matt and T.K. looked up to see a digimon come towards them! "Oh, no!" I criedout loud. Tai looked at me with Sora. "What digimon is that?" Tai asked. "That's Dagomon! A virus-type digimon.He's an ultimate digimon." I said to him. Everyone stared up at the digimon.He moved in to attack. "Fin Claw!!!" Dagomon swiped his claw down at us!Agumon, Kanmon, Gomamon, Biyomon, Palmon, Patamon, Tentomon, Gatomon, andGabumon rushed in front of us. "Agumon, digivolve to . . . Greymon!" "Kanmon,digivolve to . . .Shimimon!" "Gomamon, digivolve to . . . Ikkakumon!""Biyomon, digivolve to . . . Birdramon!" "Palmon, digivolve to . . .Togemon!" "Tentomon, digivolve to . . . Kabuterimon!" "Gabumon, digivolve to. . . Garurumon!" The champion digimon and the rookie digimon lunged atDagomon. "Harpoon Torpedo!" "Nova Blast!" "Meteor Wing!" "Boom Bubble!" "PeircingBlast!" "Needle Spray!" "Electro Shocker!" "Lightning Claw!" "Howling Blaster!" The attacks hit Dagomon, but did no effect! "Grrr . . . Fin Claw!"The attack hit all of the digimon! They all, except for Shimimon, Greymon,Patamon, and Gatomon, devolved. Only Greymon and Shimimon could still fight."Nova Blast!" He fired a fireball at Dagomon. Dagomon just swiped his handdown and destroyed the attack. "Rrrr . . . Peircing Blast!" Shimimon cried,sending a spikey ball hurtling towards him. But it was destroyed, too! "Oh,no! They're just not strong enough!" I said. "Fin Claw!!!" The attack washeading towards . . . Matt! "Nooo!!!"I rushed between him and the claw. My Crest of Humanity began to glow. Theattack hit me hard. "Yaah!!" I screamed and fell into Matt's arms. Bloodgushed from my wound. Great pain filled me and my vision was a littleblurred. Matt looked at me, tears in his eyes. "Matt . . ." I said weakly.Matt whispered, "Shhhh . . . don't talk, Kacie." I obeyed, then looked atShimimon. She was glaring at Dagomon. She looked sadly at me. My Crest ofHumanity was now glowing even brighter. The sad Shimimon smiled and declared,"Kacie! Your humanity towards me and Matt is giving me even more power! I candigivolve once again!" Shimimon began to glow!"Shimimon, digivolve to . . . Myoumon!!!" The glowing stopped. There stoodMyoumon. The life monster. She looked like MetalGreymon, except a littledifferent. She roared and charged at Dagomon. Dagomon fired a Fin Claw ather, but she dodged! He tried to attack Greymon, who was weak now anddevolved back into Agumon, but Myoumon attacked him. "Missile Hand!" Myoumonshot out her right hand! It wrapped around Dagomon. She lifted him high intothe air. She commanded, "Blasting Metal!" She shot to missiles at him and itdestroyed him. Myoumon devolved back into Yoshimon. "Ohh . . . !" I moaned.Everyone gathered around me. The darkness was overwhelming me. The last thingI saw before I closed my eyes was Yoshimon and Matt looking at me, crying . ..Deafness :I don't know how long it was since I fainted. All I remember was that I wasin total blackness. I couldn't move any muscle. My side ached greatly fromthe cut from Dagomon's Fin Claw attack. I had lost a lot of blood. Everythingwas black. I could not see a thing. But then I heard some voices. It was Mattand Tai. They were talking about me! They didn't know if I was fine or not. Itried to move, to let them and the others know I was okay. But suddenly,total deafness again. I could no longer hear them. I was scared! I didn'tknow what to do! Then, their voices were returning again! This was crazy!This time, I struggled to open my eyes. My hazal eyes slowly opened, and sawsomeone staring right at me. It was Matt."Hhhhmmm . . ." I mumbled as I tried to get up. But I fell back when theshocking pain of my wound stopped me. I flinched and pressed against my side.I looked at everyone, but . . . for some reason, something was wrong. Although I could see, I . . . I couldn't hear! I was deaf! Somehow that blowhad done something to me to make me lose my hearing. Or maybe it was theblast from Myoumon's Blasting Metal attack. That was a very loud noise. Istarted to pant frantically and sweating. My eyes grew wide. I started totremble. "Kacie, what's wrong?" Matt asked me. I couldn't answer. I couldn'thear him! What to do? What to do?!"Something's wrong with her." Matt told Tai. Yoshimon came running to myside. She gazed up at me. "You're right! There is something wrong!" Sora cameup. She said something to me. I guess it was a hearing thing. I didn't know.She wanted me to raise my hand if I can hear or not. Matt, Yoshimon and Tailooked at me, worried faces painted on them. I knew that they would find outsooner or later. When Sora clapped her hands as hard as she could, I made noresponse. She tried again. This time she had Agumon clap his hands frombehind me. I didn't know he was there, even when he clapped his hands as hardas he could. "Oh no! She's deaf! She can't hear anything we say!" Sora said.I wished I could hear what they were saying, but I couldn't. I was deaf. NowI know I was in trouble. How can I help if I can't hear a thing! What Ididn't know was that someone, someone evil, as found out that I couldn't hearanything. "So, she's deaf, is she?" A digimon walked along some pathway tosome dark castle. I saw it, but since I couldn't hear, I paid no attention toit. Matt had offered to help me around just in case my hearing returns. Idon't know when it'll return. I really wish it would. I don't know how long Ican stand it without hearing capability. Weeks passed, my hearing stillhadn't returned. I was brought to Genaii. He looked at me closely. "You're right, she is deaf." He said solemnly. Matt asked, "Is there anythingwe can do to make her feel better?" Kari and Gatomon were next to me. Theywere, how should I put it? They were my ears. They also offered to help me.Gatomon was on Kari's lap, purring as she stroked Gatomon's furry head andback. I smiled, then looked back at Genaii. Although I couldn't hear myself,I asked, "What happened to make me lose my hearing, Genaii?" I just hopedthat I had said that right. I did. He wrote something down. It read, "Theexplosion from Blasting Metal is what caused it." Well, that made a lot ofsense!"Is there anyway we can help her?" Matt asked again. "There is a way. Thereis a plant that Kacie must eat to restore hearing capability." Yoshimon wasrelieved. She smiled. I picked her up. Genaii told the others that the plantto help me was called "Hearing Herb" and it grew somewhere nearby in aclearing. We'll know if we're there because it will be similiar to ahorsetail, except red. I was the only one familiar with horsetails, so only Iwould know. Tai and Matt helped me up and led me with them and the group.Even though I could still see, without my hearing I wouldn't do much good atwalking since I wouldn't know if there's something bad ahead or something. SoI just walked with them. Yoshimon bounced along side with me.Gatomon suddenly jumped. I think she found something. But it turned out to bea someone! A digimon popped out. An evil digimon. "Gizamon!" I said blankly.I continued, "You're the other digivolved form of Pugamon!" "You're right,deaf one! Now to get you!" He lunged at me! Matt screamed and jumped in frontof me. Gizamon crashed into him. Angry, he jumped up and shot, "Stinger Blaze!" Thousands of stingers shot out of him and headed straight for Matt! Gatomon jumped in front of him. "Lightning Claw!" Her paws glowed, and electricity zapped out of them. They destroyed the attack and attackedGizamon. But he still wanted to fight! Gatomon fired another Lightning Clawat him.Seeing me and Matt in danger, Yoshimon began to glow! "Yoshimon, digivolve to. . . Kanmon!!!" "She's back!" Agumon squealed with delight. "Yeah!" Biyomonagreed. Kanmon rushed over to Gatomon. Looking at Gizamon, she said, "PepperFire!" A fireball shot out from her mouth and hit Gizamon hard. He was sentflying backwards, hitting a tree and fainting. Kanmon rushed over to me. Iwas in shock of what happened. I smiled at her. She smiled back, glad that Iwas okay. Then she goes over by Agumon. Like that didn't surprise me! Sheloves Agumon as I already knew. The others, luckily, didn't know. I wasn'tgoing to tell them. But what if they do know?I tried to get some sleep. The past few days were a nightmare! I was hurtseveral times by Dagomon and VDramon. I became deaf. I almost killed Tai.Things like that. I regret all those things. I wanted to go home now! But Ican't. I'm a DigiDestined. I have to stay! This bothered me for hours. I waslaying next to Matt, since he didn't mind anymore. Gabumon was laying on T.K.to keep him warm. Gatomon lay curled up in a ball next to Kari. Agumon andKanmon were sleeping together next to Tentomon and Palmon. I smiled at mysleeping friends. And I wondered if I would ever be able to hear again . . .

Crisis! Kacie's Sacrifice! :

Tai's tears dropped onto her motionless face. Kari did not stir. I justwatched them, smiling. But when Tai screamed those words, something inside ofme stired up. The evil left my body. My eyes stopped glowing red and I wasable to see color. I looked at the scene and gasped. "What have I done?" Iwhispered, dropping to my knees. Tears formed in my eyes. Sadly, I walkedover to them. Tai looked up at me, tears in his eyes. I gently placed a handon Kari's heart, feeling for a beating. Fortunately there was one. It wasfaint, but there. I smiled slightly. "She's still alive." I said. Tai smiled.Still the tears flew down his face. I looked at my Crest of Humanity.I looked sadly at the almost dead Kari. Gatomon, injured, was mourning byTai, holding Kari in his arms. I knew what I had to do. I started to glowalong with my crest. "Huh?" Matt asked, staring at me. "What is Kacie doing?"Koromon asked. Kanmon shrugged. "Healing Wave!" I sent a shower of blue-greenlight over to Kari's limp body. It covered her warmly, then faded away. MyCrest of Humanity stopped glowing. He stared long and hard at Kari. Tailooked into her closed eyes, which suddenly started to shake. Slowly, herbrown eyes opened. "Tai . . .?" She asked weakly. Tai hugged her tight, thendiscovered that her wound was gone! He gaped at me. I smiled.It took quite a while for all of us to heal from what happened. I said sorryto everyone for what I've done. They accepted it. I just hope MetalDevimon isout of our way for good! It was a long night. Not much to talk about. I stilldon't know how Yoshimon became Kanmon again. I guess she digivolved becauseshe knew I was in danger. What a friend! Kanmon lay curled up by Koromon.Those two have been together all the time! I wonder about Murizumon andGomamon. I turned to them. Sure enough, Gomamon was sleeping by Murizumon.Jana was sleeping nearby. My eyes started to droop. Before they closed haveway, a pair of glowing eyes shown upon me. MetalDevimon. He had followed me!"Kacie, you traitor, you!" I jumped back, crashing into Tai. "Kacie, what'swrong?" I didn't answer him. I pointed towards MetalDevimon. Izzy was alsoawake. He flipped out his laptop and looked up MetalDevimon. "He is avirus-type digimon, Devimon's super ultimate form. He is rarely seen. He hasexplosive power." Izzy quivered when he looked at MetalDevimon. I backedaway. "I will have to control you by force! Laser Bomb!" "Ahhhh!!! Kanmon, HEEELLLPPP!!!!!!!" Kanmon shot up in a second. But I knew that my adventures weren'tover. Although MetalDevimon was defeated, there were still 2 other evildigimon we had to fight. DarkHououmon, which luckily only I could operate,and Pukumon. What I didn't know was that DarkHououmon was speaking withPukumon at this moment.DarkHououmon's eye brows narrowed. "You saw who?" Pukumon nodded. "Yes, I sawKacie. She holds the Crest of Humanity. The very crest that'll make youunbeatable." At this, the huge bird digimon smiled evilly. She cocked herhead towards the tall window. "Soon, I will be my old self again! Ha ha ha haha!!!!!" She looked at Pukumon. "Capture that girl and bring her to me!""Yes, m'am!" With that, he turned and flew out of the window in search of me. DarkHououmon laughed and smiled evilly as she watched Pukumon fly out andinto the dark woods of the DigiWorld. "We shall see who will triumph!" Floramon, who had been silent like Legomon and Bakumon, suddenly stiffenedup. Something wasn't right. He could feel it in his roots. "What's wrong?" Yoshimon asked. Whatever was wrong. I could feel it, too. "He's right. Someone is coming." I said, shocked that I had read Floramon's mind for the first time. Floramon looked at me, mouth wide open. Then we all turned aroundto see Pukumon. "I need . . . her!" He pointed towards me. He grabbed me. Istruggled to get free, but to no avail! "Let her go!" Matt yelled, and hisCrest of Friendship glowed. Puchimon, Yoshimon, Tsunomon, and Koromon jumpedin front of him. "Back off!" Pukumon yelled. "This is business! Get lost!"This made the In-Training digimon very angry! "Yoshimon, digivolve to . . . Kanmon!" "Puchimon, digivolve to . . .Murizumon!" "Koromon, digivolve to . . . Agumon!" "Tsunomon, digivolve to . .. Gabumon!" Kanmon jumped up and tried to attack Pukumon, but she was tossedback. Agumon cried out, "Kanmon!" Turning to Pukumon, he fired a PepperBreath at him. Not even a scratch! To him anyway, I got hit and it burnt myarm. "Hey! Burn him not me!" Agumon said, "Oops." Murizumon jumped up andused Sail Strike on him. No effect! She fell back. I said, "This guy's asuper ultimate digimon. We don't have enough strength to make Kanmon andMurizumon digivolve to Jinbunmon and Ultramon again right now." "Gabumon,digivolve to . . . Garurumon!" Garurumon rushed over to try and get me fromPukumon."Spike Fist Punch!" Pukumon blow a powerful punch on Garurumon before hecould react and he was defeated. He devolved back into Gabumon. "No!" I cried, and my Crest of Humanity glowed brightly. "Kanmon, digivolve to . . .Shimimon!" "Shimimon!" I called out to my digimon. Shimimon moved in toattack. "Don't worry, I will take him down! Peircing Blast!" Pukumon got hitand laughed. "You think that puny little attack will harm me? Now if youdon't mind, I should be running off!" He put his hand over my mouth anddragged me even harder. "Help me!" I muffled, then disappeared into theforest. "Oh, no!" Tai cried. Shimimon devolved back into Kanmon. "I failed toprotect her." She seemed sad. Legomon walked up. "We have to rescue her.Pukumon works for DarkHououmon!" Everyone gasped in horror. They had to hurryand rescue me! But how?I slowly opened my eyes. I looked around. I tried moving one of my arms, thenfound I couldn't! I looked to see that my arms and legs were shackled to a table! "Ahh!" I whimpered. "What's going on?" I squirmed with all my might,but found it was useless. I saw two others in the same room. DarkHououmon andPukumon. DarkHououmon looked like a Hououmon, but mostily black with whitetail feathers and white wing tips with some gray on the head and a yellowbeak. "DarkHououmon!" I cried. "What to you want from me?" She smiled evilly.With Pukumon grabbing my crest from me, she said, "I want you to make mestronger. Use the Crest of Humanity evilly now!" I protested, then somethingblack was inserted. A black gear! An evil feeling washed over me, and tookover me. "Yes, master." I said automatically. I was evil again . . .
