Story  (finally)

PART 1

BEFORE IT BEGAN

    A very long time ago, a colony of Demidevimon lived in the mountains. The life was not easy, but it was especially hard for one.  She had a green mark on her forehead, and enjoyed life instead of death.

    One day, the prophet Gatomon came to the little town.  She spoke aloud in the town square after gathering everyone there:

    " One of you shall turn to good.  All others shall perish, and insanity shall be destroyed." she said.

    The one who would become Myotismon laughed and said "not me!"  He then causally kicked another Demidevimon so hard that the Demidevimon was sent flying.

    As they digivolved, the one with the mark grew stranger.  When she was a Devimon, her wings were green, not black.  When a Myotismon, she looked just like the evil Myotismon (all the rest were killed by him in their Devimon stages,) but green!

    The evil one sneered. "You are a stranger, the traitor, and evil.  You are not a Myotismon!  I shall kill you!"

    The nice one smiled. "Call me Nicemyotismon.  And because I do not kill unnessecerily does not mean I am bad! I shall leave."

    She stormed off, and eventully came upon another mountain.

    She discovered a tribe of Wizardmon.  They were against Myotismon, and they had formed an army against him!

    Because of all she knew about Myotismon, she became the top army general.

    One day, a young boy named Matt went off on a camping trip.  He headed over to the woods near his house with his gear.

    He took a rest by an oak tree.  He noticed that the ground was starting to swirl.

    He bent down for a closer look.  Suddenly, the ground opened and engulfed him.

    When he came to, he looked around.  He was in some kind of large throne room.  He noticed five figures at the far end.

    They approached him.  Their names were (big surprise here)

Metalseadramon, Machinedramon (sorry if this is spelled wrong,)Puppetmon, Piedmon, and Myotismon.

    Myotismon spoke "Well well well.  What have we here?  Another weakling to play with?"

    Matt spoke "Hey, you may be bigger than me and all, but I'm not a

weakling nor a plaything!  Where am I, anyway?"

    Puppetmon smiled. " You are our captive.  You're in the castle of

infinity mountain, and you are our bait."

    Matt wasn't happy " WHAT?"

    Suddenly...

    The door blew off its hinges, and ten Wizardmon troops raced in.  They started thunderpunching all of the bad guys, and Matt slipped out.  He was thankful for the diversion.

    Suddenly, he ran into Nicemyotismon.

    Something told him to be friendly, so he didn't run off screaming.

    Nicemyotismon smiled. "Hello there, human.  Would you like to leave?  The base is not far from here.  And this attack went wrong anyway."

    Matt smiled. "Why not?"

    They grew to be fast friends.  Matt was very good with a blaster, so he grew to the ranking of sub-general (one below Ka- I mean Nicemyotismon. Hehehe!)

    Later.....

    A boy was out on a camping trip.  He was so smart his parents had let him go, even at such a young age.

    He took a rest against an oak tree.  He then looked at the ground.  It was moving.

    He peered closer.  Suddenly, it fell away!

    He woke up on a mountain by what seemed to be a shack.  He felt his left leg and knew that it was broken.

    Suddenly, a boy with blond hair and blue eyes walked up.

    "Hello, my name's Matt.  How do you do?"

    The boy responded. "I'm Izzy.  Where am I?  Is there a medical center nearby where I could get a cast and a crutch?"

    "Um, yes.  My general will be by shortly, and she will probably give you a lift.  After she makes sure you're a good guy, of course.  How'd you get here?"

    "The ground caved in and a swirling vortex of massive proportions and amazing strength sucked me through what I assume is a multidimensional rift."

    "In English, please?"

    "I fell."

    Matt thought out loud. "Hmm.  Maybe Myotismon and the dark masters have successfully opened up that portal.  That's bad."

    Izzy was curious. "Who?"

    Matt explained the background of Nicemyotismon and himself.  Then the general herself showed up.

    She smiled. "I'll see what I can do."

    ***

    In the hospital, Izzy was surprised by the politeness of the Wizardmon.

    A Wizardmon brought him a bottle of medicine. "Here you are.  One drop and you'll be fine."

    He drank some, and instantly felt better. " Thank you very much."

    He got his own quarters.  He worked in the military as a scientist, and had no experiments go wrong.

    He had just finished showing the general a potion that he had made.  It could turn digimon and people into other digimon and people.  He had work very hard to assemble all of the data, but he had potions for just about every digimon in existence.

    "Drink the potion and you can change into any digimon or person!"

    "But there's only one potion for people."

    "Drink it, and then think of a certain hair color, eye color, height, etc.  It ties in with your brain waves and creates the human that you think of."

    She picked it up. "Not bad.  Can you make one to your world?"

    Izzy smiled. "Sure.  In fact, I already did.  It's been nice two years, but soon people will start to miss me (he had figured out that time went slower in the digiworld by using his computer to access digiworld times and comparing them to the real world times.)

    The general smiled. "Bye!"

    After a very violent battle, Nicemyotismon found herself wishing that she had asked him for one of the portal potions.  She only knew one other way to go into the real world, but it would involve breaking into the fortress to find portal doors, and she couldn't do that without more bloodshed

    Matt pointed out a good idea. "Why don't we transform into Wizardmon, fly in by ourselves, and leave through the doors alone?"

    " Good idea.  I should have thought of it."

    They snuck through without incident, and found themselves standing in the woods.

    Matt spoke. " I have to go.  If a year there equals a day here, my times almost up.  I served with you for almost three years as the best sniper in the army."

    He knelt down and picked up a piece of paper. "Hey, I know.  This missing girl looks kind of pretty.  Just take the new name and shape- a human named Kari- and say that you got lost."

    "Good idea.  I'll miss you Matt."

    "I'll miss you too.  I hope we see each other real soon."

PART 2

DIGIWORLD

    After the Digidestined beat Myotismon, they journeyed back to Digiworld, and ran into Gennai.

    "Hello kids!  Where have you been?  I missed you." He led them to his house and let them in.

    Suddenly, the house shook.  Everyone was sent flying.

    Sora and Matt were the first ones out.  They looked at a huge group of monsters.

    Sora looked shaken. "What is an army of Batomon doing here?"

    A Batomon noticed them.  He floated over and grabbed Matt.

    Sora jumped on the Batomon and started punching him. "You leave him

alone!"

    Gabumon and Biyomon came out.

    Digivolve into champions!

    GABUMON DIGIVOLVE TO GAROOMON

    BIYOMON DIGIVOLVE TO BIRDRAMON

    The digimon beat off the squad, and saved Matt, in a rush of Meteor Wings and Howling Blasters.

    Later.....

    Matt walked outside and onto the stairway.  Suddenly, he noticed that Sora had followed him.  He was glad.

    "Sora, I have to tell you something."

    "Yes, Matt?"

    "I- I was so impressed by your bravery today.  I didn't think that you would do something like that for me."

    "Thanks."

    They hugged.

    Matt pulled away, shocked. "Why did I do that?"

    Sora smiled. "Now how would I know?"

    But they were watched.

    Tai fumed as he walked back inside. "You'll pay for this.  I mean it."

    The next night, Matt went out again.  He looked at his old army blaster.

    "Ah, the memories."

    Tai stepped out side with a knife.  He had decided to give Matt a haircut so Sora would think that he was ugly.

    Before he got halfway to the place where Matt was standing, Matt spun around with his blaster.

    "Hello, Tai.  Mind I ask why you're sneaking up-though not very

quietly-with a knife?"

    Tai smiled grimly. " You stole my girlfriend, so I figured a haircut might be beneficial."

    He took a big step forward.  And then...

    POOF! Tai was suddenly in a big room.

    "Where am I?" he thought.

    He hear a maniac type of laughter.  He turned to see Puppetmon.

    "Hahaha!  Guess you went insane!  When someone's emotions get ahead of them, they appear hear!  They are also in the digiworld, but their body is run by emotions and no care or logic!  Want to see what you would be doing if you were there, Tai?

    A screen rolled down, and Tai saw himself jumping at Matt.

    SLASH!  The emotional Tai gave Matt a bad wound in the forehead.

    Matt jumped back, leveled is blaster and said. "You know Tai, I din't steal her.  I hugged her because she tried to save my life.

    The emotional Tai seemed to be shocked.  Puppetmon smiled.

    "When your emotional self sees what it did wrong, you switch back!

Good-bye!  Hope you like getting shot!

    POOF!  Tai was on the yard.

    He looked up to see Matt firing at him.

    Then all went blank.

    Matt's wound finally got the better of him.  He collasped.

    When they awoke, they found themselves in beds.  They felt just fine.

    Gennai walked in.

    "I'm glad to see that the two combatants are feeling better.  You'll be fine shortly.

    In a day, they were fine.  Matt and Tai left the sickbay.  Matt went to talk to T. K., and Tai went to his room.  On his way, he heard a most unusual argument between Izzy and Kari.

    Izzy was very angry. "Kari, you must tell them your secret!"

    Kari was very defiant. "No way!  Do you think I want to be killed?"

    "No, but look at what's happening. Tai and Matt started a duel yesterday for no reason!  I think that he's working for the Dark Masters.  If you reveal who you are, maybe he'll revert!"

    "Yeah, sure.  He'll kill me!  He almost killed Matt, you know.  As soon as he figures out that I'm Myotismon's sister, he'll send Agumon against me!"

    The argument continued.

    Tai went to his room, feeling highly disturbed.  On his way, he got

yanked into another room.

    Joe looked at him sternly. "Tai, it's been like this for a week.  WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?"

    Tai sighed. "I wish I knew.  If Izzy would calm down, I'd be thrilled.  I need to ask him some questions."

    Joe sighed too. "Tai, be careful.  I think that they have both gone

insane."

    Tai smiled. "So do I." Then he dashed out of the room.  Joe called after him.

    "Sora, Mimi, and T.K. are in on this too, okay?"

    "Yeah, sure, whatever."

    The next day, Tai awoke feeling refreshed.

    That didn't last.

    Mimi ran in. "Izzy and Kari ran off last night!"

    "WHAT?"

    Kari said she was going to get an army to destroy Izzy.  Izzy didn't say a word.  I think they've gone mad!"

    In the insanity realm...

    Izzy and Kari awoke.

    Izzy spoke. "Where are we?"

    Kari smiled. "Now how would I know?"

    Izzy saw a computer.  He looked in the files, and figured out that they were insane. "Oh boy."

    In the digiworld...

    Matt and Tai were discussing something.

    "We should go after them."

    "No Tai, we won't.  Kari left to save herself from Izzy-and from you.  Do you want to ruin that?"

    Tai was insistent, and Matt gave in.

    "All right.  We can go soon.  I think Kari went to the mountains."  He then explained everything.

    Tai was shocked, but he quickly recovered.  They agreed to go in an hour. When told, the rest agreed unanimously.

    Izzy and Kari were aloud to pass the border easily, as they had served for years.  Matt was aloud to pass, and for some reason they let T. K., Sora, and Mimi through, but Tai and Joe were stopped until Tai said that he was with them, and Joe was with him.

    They gathered, and Tai told them about his visit to the other realm.

    T. K. spoke. "I know how we can get there."

    Tai smiled. " Go insane?"

    T. K. shook his head. "Have you heard of the three most powerful

weapons-the hat, the heart, and the handshot (the name of a blaster rifle in Kari's army)?  They can be used to open a portal to any universe!

    Sora shrugged her shoulders. "It's worth a try.  I have a 'handshot,' as you call it."

    Mimi smiled. "I have a pretty heart shaped gem.  Will it work?"

    T. K. examined the heart and handshot, and then spoke like he was reading something out of a book. "My mom told me about these.  My hat, your handshot, and your heart can do it!  But who's to go in?"

    Joe volunteered "I've always been a coward, so I'd like to do something brave for once.  Besides, Matt and Tai are needed to help control their siblings, and I assume that the holders have to be outside the rift.  When I'm ready, I'll tell you when to get me out of there."

    Everything was prepared, and the holders took their places.

PART 3

INSANITY LAND

    Bussap!

    Joe waved, and then ran into the blue light that appeared as the three weapons fired beams.

    He found himself in a large room, with several tied up guards at the other end.  Ignoring them, he looked in the computer files, and found out everything about the realm.

    It took a bit of exploring, but he was able to find Izzy and Kari.  They were being chased by the Dark Masters.  The three digidestined ran back into the portal room.

    Joe sent a transmission through the computer to get them out of there, hoping that someone would get it.  Someone obviously did, because the portal opened.  It was also obvious, though, that the Dark Masters would not let them through it.

    Joe knew what he had to do. "Move it, Izzy and Kari!  I'll hold your back." he began firing shots at the Masters, stopping their advance.

    Izzy and Kari dashed through the portal, and Joe backed up slowly.

    When Izzy and Kari got back, they glowed, seemed to split into two

people, and then merged.

    Izzy and Kari smiled, and at the same time said. "I'm back."

    While he backed up, Joe figured that if he could crash this place, even though he would die, so would the Dark Masters.

    Hopefully.

    Joe stopped firing at the Dark Masters, and instead fired at the systems (electrical wires, computers, etc.)that he saw.

    Bzzzzt

    Boom! Boom!  Boom!

    On the other side, the rest of the Digidestined saw Joe's hand stick out from the portal.  It wavered a little bit, and then the portal seemed to implode.  Joe's medical bag, tag/crest and digivice were hurled out.

    When the rubble cleared, the Dark Masters and Joe were nowhere to be found.

    Izzy computed that no one and nothing could have survived the blast on the inside.

    In the city graveyard (the fort needed it a lot). They buried what was flung from the portal.

    On the gravestone, they entered:

Here lies Joe Kido

A wonderful boy

He sacrificed his life to defeat the Dark Masters

We are very grateful
