AFTER THE FIRST TIME
This story takes place after Izzys first crsh, unless you read that firt you may be confuseld.

Katina sat still by her window. She watched people walk under her. The apartment window had a little foggy spot from where she had leaned her head against the pane and breathed on it.
Rain came down, but only in little drops here and there, not even enough to make the sidewalks dark.
There was a sound on her bed, and she turned.
Havamon had rolled over in his sleep, and made the springs squeek. She smiled.
Brushing her hair back from her face, she listened to The Izumis watching TV. She wondered breifly what Izzy was doing, and shook her head.
Knock.
" Mh?" she lifted her head from the window.
Knock.
She made a face.
Knock knock Thump.
Laughing Katina got up from her chair and answered hre bedroom door.
Izzy stood in front of her with a big stupid grin plastered to his face.
She smiled, " I thought you were studying." she stated plainly, " That is why I was leaving you alone." Katina moved out of the way so that the auburn haired boy could come in her room.
His slippered feet made a pad pad pad sound as he did so. He set his laptop, which hads been in his hands down on her desk.
" what have you been doing?" he asked her as she shut the door.
Katina looked blank for a moment, " Well to tell you the truth, I have ben thinking about things."
" what kind of things?"
she made a face, " Uh.. just stuff..."
Izzy looked at the hispanic girl with dark eyes for a moment and then smiled, " You are not going to tell me what are you?" he asked.
Katina looked pale, " It's just you know.. sconce we left the digiworld.. I have been thinking about the things that have happened." she shrugged, " But nothing of great importance."
Izzy looked surprised, " I see."
His computer made a beeping sound.
" Your computer is beeping." Said Katina flopping down on the bed next to Havamon.
Izzy grinned, " I don't hear anything." he sat down next to her, and placed an arm around her shoulders.
Katina blushed feircly, " Izzy, I know you are supposed to be studying... " she said hesitantly.
" Am I?" he kissed her cheek, " I think that perhaps even the most studious student even needs time off..."
Katina blushed deeply.
" Izzy..."
The computer beeped louder this time.
Izzy made a face and made no move to take care of it.
Instead he smiled at Katina, " You want to go out to lunch? Mom and Dad are watching a movie.. something about a Godzilla remake.. " He shrugged.
Katina grinned, " Mh.. lunch sounds good."
The laptop bleeped again, but louder, and faster.
Then, just as Katina and Izzy leaned forward to meet one another..
" IZZY! DON'T YOU CHECK YOUR E MAIL ANY MORE! I KNOW YOUR THERE!"
" Gah!" Izzy fell over off the bed,and Katina jerked back, falling into poor Havamon.
" Gennai!" Izzy exclaimed, jumping up and grabbing his laptop.
He opened the mail, and Gnnais cute little figure came up in the corner box, " You need to bring the others back to the digital world.. mass havok is being brought on by natural, or rather, not so natral disasters, hurry! this is an emergancy!"
The mail cut off and Izzy sweatdropped.
Katina made a face, " You know.. he can't even give it a week."
" Well.. better contact the others." Izzy sighed.
Katina got up and Havamon groaned, " but we JUST got back!" he whined. However he too, got up from th bed and stretched himself out.
Katina made a mental note of how big he was. His tair must have been a goot two foot long, and his ears.. well the ears.. if his hearing was a good as they were big, he could probably hear a pin drop on the busy sidewalk below.
she sighed and grabbed her back pack from under her bed.
Meanwhile...
A dark figure made its way through the desert of the digital world. It stopped occasionaly, scaring off the stray nosey digimon with a grumble.
The strangest thing was.. that it was human..
The human stopped finally and called out a name.
" DIABLOMON!" the , now apparently, Boy cried out.
There was a rumble, lik thunder, under the sands of the desert.
Very suddenly, the evil, dark digimon burst out. Diablomon was huge, and he towered over the human boy with ease.
He looked, increadably, like a ghost figured Devidramon. Only his eyes were green, and his skin was like fire. Red and orange. But it seemed to give no light, offer no brightness to the nightness of the digital world.
The human boy showed no fear though. For he had been fromised no harm by this gargantuan digimon.
" What is it, human child." demanded the digimon in a rumbling tone.
" I have done what you asked Diablomon. I have lured the children here."
" Good."
The boy stood for a moment, " You have sworn no harm to the one called Katina."
" I have."
The boy nodded, and then left, as the evil digimon sank beneath the sands of the desert, thinking.
Back on Earth...
Tachi stood and waited for the others.
He tapped his watch, and Koromon bounced imaptiently on the ground.
" I thought Izzy said to meet them here at 5 o'clock." he sighed.
It was clear that the leader of the digidestined was becoming impatient. HE tapped his foot in time with Koromons bouncing.
Sora and Mimi ran up to him.
Palmon and Biyomon were not far behind.
Sora panted, " ARe we late?"
" More like Izzy is." snapped Taichi impatiently.
Mimi made a fae, " Geeze, TAI.." she huffed, holding her knees.
Taichi frowned, " alright, sorry, but I was SURE Izzy said 5 o' clock."
" I did Taichi." Izzy came walking up with Katina behind him, " But I also said at the corner of third and Freeland." he pointed up at the sign, " Not the corner of Fourth and Freeland." he pointed out.
Sora looked at Taichi.
Mimi glared.
Katina giggled.
Taichi turned red, " Gomen Nasi!" he exclaimed just before Mimi jumped on him, and began to yell about how thickheaded he could be sometimes.
Jyou and Yamatto and TK all ran up. Kari was not far behind.
" DID you really think you were going to leave me at home, TAI!" she demanded in her sweet, but dangeruose voice.
The digimon all started talking at one time, all trying to give suggestions about how to take care of the digital world.
Gommamon jumped onto Katinas head.
" Hey! I missed you!"
Katina laughed. " I missed you too Gomma." she patted his head and then frowned slightly as he snatched her glasses from her face and placed themon his own.
" Woah! Kat! Your glasses make me more dizzy than Jyous!" he proclaimed laughing.
Jyous rushed over and Took Katinas glasses from the digi.
He handed them back to Katina who had just figured out what had just happened.
Havamon made a remark about being mature.
She blushed as Izzy smiled at her and then turned back to buisness.
" Everyone, listen please."
There was silence.
" OKay. Ready to go back to the digital world?"
There were agreements from everyone.
Everyone but Katina that is.
Izzy looked at her, " Is something bothering you Katina?" he asked worridly.
" I have a bad feeling about this." she said softly.
" That's probably because EVERY time we go to the digiworld there is some big bad digimon waiting to eat us, or destroy us, or turn us into little bits of information..." began Jyou.
Taichi laughed, " Come on Jyou, you know it has not been nearly as bad as.."
" Oh Tai, just shut up!" snapped Mimi, playfully baping him on the head.
Katina sighed, " You guys are right.. i must be getting to be like Jyou." she smiled at the blue haired boy.
They all held out their digivices.
There was a flash of light..
And suddenly.. they were not on earth...
But they were not in the digital world either..
Or at least.. not the one that they had left behind.
The sky was dark, no longer a cheerul color of blue they had left, now ripped with torrents of lightning and thunder.
But there was no rain.
They had landed near the edge of what they believed to b the island they had first anded on, but.. the sea, was red, and frothing, as though someone had spilled blood into it, and churned it.
Matt picked up a stone from the sand, and threw it into the sea.
There was a hissing sound as the rock hit, and became digital information.
Katina gasped.
" This is not right.." she whispered moving close to Izzy.
HE nodded, " Ithink in this, Kat-chan, you may have been right in that instinct you had."
Katina nodded.
Taichi stared at where the stone had hit the waters.
" I.. " he stuttered, " I dont believe it."
Tentomon made a sound in his throat, and Havamon frowned deeply.
"This.. is not how we left it." said Byiomon.
" She's right." Patamon.
Katina winced as she heard a high sound.
" what is that noise?" she asked softly.
" Huh?" Taichi looked around, falling silent.
Everyone listened.
Havamons ear twitched.
Gatomons did as well.
" I can hear it as well." said Gatomon.
" I hear something but I dont recognise it as a digimon." said Havamon.
Katina frowned, " It sounds like someone turned on a telivision set." she remarked.
Everyone gave Katina an odd look. She blinked, " When someone turns on a T.V, I can hear this faint buzzing noise coming from it.. A constant ringing." she said, " That is what this sounds like."
Matt looked at Taichi who grinned a bit, " Are you telling us that someone has a T.V. turned on and you can hear it?"
" I said that is what it sounded like duffle brain." remarked Katina a bit pointedly.
Taichi opened his mouth to say something but Sora covered it.
" No need for namecalling." she said, trying to keep the two from an argument.
Taichi groaned.
" I don't understand this." The digimon were talking among themselves.
Havamon watched Katina, as she moved forwards, closer to the woods.
Matt noticed her.
He follwed, " Katina? What are you doing?" he asked, unsure of what to make of her actions.
" It gets louder this way." she murmured.
He blinked.
" Hey guys! Come on! she says it gets louder in the woods." he made a motion with his hand for the othres to follow.
" I wonder if Katina has a 6th sense." mutter Jyou, " Which would be our luck, scince she frcasted that she had a bad feeling. Why does thi kind o thing always happen to me!" he threw his hands up in the air.
Gommamon laughed, " Well Jyou, look at it this way, if its happening to you and us, then think of all the people its leaving alone."
Jyou groaned, slightly irritated.
"Gommamon. I'd like to hit you." he stated blandly.
The whole group travele into the forest.
Katina listened carefully and led them finally to a cave where there was a bright glow from within.
Hikari stared, " Pretty." she said softly.
Izzy watched Katina as she circled the entrance.
Unknwn to them they were being watched. The boy who had talked to the evil digimon watched them carefully.
" Iremon." he said softly.
A small yellow colored digimon with no hands or mouth flew up next to him.
It had green translucent wings and bright green eyes.
If it had not ben for the abilities it harbored, it would have been a cute squeek toy for a dog.
However..
" I want you to go own there. split thm up. Taichi and Matt first, Then Kari and Sora. Also.. be careful. I do not want Katina with Izzy."
The Iremon nodded and ent down into a boulder.
It seemed to float right into it, and out again, though when it came ut, there were sveral more with it.
They floated down, unseen, into the groups midst.
