"Help me Tai!" screamed Kari
"Kari, where are you! I'm coming!"
Tai was running through a dark forest, trying to find Kari. An evil voice was laughing around him
"Ha ha ha! You'll never be able to reach her in time! Ha ha ha!"
"NOOOOOO! Kari!"
The sky was filled with bats flying past the full moon. Tai saw an opening and in the middle of it was…
"Kari!" Tai started running faster towards his sister
"Tai, look out!" Kari screamed
Tai looked down and saw the ground had disappeared. He fell into the black hole.
"AHHHHHHHHH!"
Tai was falling, falling into the darkness.
"KARI!"

Tai woke up, covered in a cold sweat. He looked around. The campfire had gone out. The sun was just about to rise, but the others were still asleep. He looked at Kari, fast asleep by him side. She looked so peaceful.
Tai took out his tag and crest.
Why am I having these bad dreams, and why haven't I been able to make Agumon digivolve? Is there something wrong with the crest, or is there something wrong with me?
Tai put his crest away and got up.
"Well, no use sitting around mopping all day. I'd better get some firewood and cook some breakfast for the others."
A few hours later, the others had woken up. They were all surprised to see Tai up so early, and tat he had cooked breakfast.
"Why were you up so early?" Matt asked
"No reason, I just couldn't get back to sleep, so I thought I would make breakfast for everyone" Tai replied, smiling. Buy Tai wasn't really happy. He was still worrying about the crest, but he didn't want the others to know this.
"Hmm" Matt didn't believe him, but he didn't want to make a fuss.
"Mmmmmm! This is great Tai!" said Mimi
"Yeah! I didn't know you could cook this well Tai" TK said
"If you like it that much, I should cook it more often", Tai said
"Yes please" munched Kari.

Meanwhile, at Myotismon's castle…

"I have a job for you Demidevimon" Myotismon told his servant
"What is it boss?" asked Demidevimon
"One of the digidestined is losing the power of his crest. I want you to make sure he does lose it," ordered Myotismon.
"But how boss?"
"I'll tell you how…"

The digidestined were walking through the digiforest when they heard a familiar laugh.
"It's Demidevimon," cried Tai
"Ha ha ha!" laughed Demidevimon, "It's so nice to see you all, NOT!"
"What do you want pipsqueak," Matt shouted
"I want to introduce you to a new friend," answered Demidevimon, "Come on out Serpermon."
"Serpermon? Who's that?" asks Mimi
"I think we're about to find out!" cried Joe. At that moment, a large snake light digimon, with giant fangs and big, muscular arms appeared from the ground.
"AHHHHH!" cried Kari.

Digi-analysis
Serpermon- a deadly snake type digimon with fangs as deadly and a dagger. Watches out for his Deadly Venom Attack, causes if you don't you're dead. Literally

"Quick you guys, digivolve!" shouted Sora

"Gabumon, digivolve to Garurmon"

"Biyomon digivolve to Birdramon!"

"Tentomon, digivolve to Kabuterimon!"

"Palmon, digivolve to Togemon!"

"Patamon digivolve to ANGEMON!"

"Gatomon, digivolve to ANGEWOMON!"

"Gomamon, digivolve to Ikkakumon!"

Agumon tried to digivolve, but was unsuccessful.
"Tai why can't I digivolve?" he asks
"I don't know Agumon," says Tai

The digimon all attacked, but they have no effect of Serpermon. They're bashed out the way but his huge tail.

"Deadly Venom" Serpermon launches his attack at the digidestined. They all dive out the way, but Kari can't get up.
"Kari! Get out of there!" cries Tai
"Deadly Venom" Serpermon launches his attack again, this time at Kari.
"Kari, NOOOOO!" Tai runs to Kari to protect her.
"Tai, look out!
"AHHHH!"
"Tai, NOO!" Kari screams. Tai was hit by Serpermons attack. He falls to the ground and doesn't move.
"Celestial Arrow!" cries Angewomon as she launches her attacked. The arrow goes straight through Serpermon, them he disappears.
All the Digimon de-digivolve and the digidestined run over to Tai.
"Tai, TAI! Wake up! Please wake up" cries Kari, tears rolling down her cheeks.
Joe checks Tai's pulse.
"He's still alive, but he's very cold. We need to get him to some shelter and light a fire to keep him warm." Joe explains
"There was a cave just around that corner," says Izzy
"Well let's get him inside then," Matt said.

An hour later they were all inside the cave. A fire had been lit and Tai was lying, unconscious, next to it, Kari by his side. The others were all sitting around the fire trying to work out how they could help Tai. Izzy was on his computer.
"Found anything yet Izzy?" asked Matt
"No," answered Izzy, " but I'm trying to contact Genii. He could help us."
"I hope we can help Tai soon" Mimi said, "he doesn't look any better."

Meanwhile, back at Myotismon's castle…

"Good work Demidevimon. You've pleased me with your latest mission," Myotismon said to his servant.
"Thanks boss. What will you do know that the kid has no strength to use his crest?"
"Well, with their leader in his current condition and without the power of his crest, the rest of the digidestined are venerable. Tonight I will strike, and I will finally be rid of those annoying kids."

At sunset, Tai was still unconscious. Kari was still by his side.
"I wish I knew how to help Tai," sobbed Kari.
" Me too, " said Agumon, "Tai, please wake up."
"I wish Genii was here." Sora said
"Well I see you wish has come true," a voice said behind her.
"Genii, you're here!" cried Sora.
"Who were you expecting, Santa Claus?" Genii asked
"Genii, can you tell us how to help Tai" Asked Matt
"Please tell us. I don't want to lose Tai," Kari said, tears rolling down her eyes again.
"There is only one way you can help Tai," Genii started.
"How?" everyone asked in unity
"Well, because he was poisoned and all his energy drained away, there is only one way you can help him. I'm not sure how, but maybe this prophecy will help you:
When the loved one of the one who suffers is in danger, the powers of those closest to him will give him strength," Genii finished.
"What does that mean?" asked Mimi.
"I'm sorry but I have to go. I will send a copy of the prophecy to Izzy's computer. Good bye digidestined and good luck" Genii said, as he faded away.
"Genii come back!" shouted TK
"Well he was a lot of help," said Joe.
Kari went back to Tai and held his hand.
"Oh Tai, please wake up soon."
Suddenly, the digidestined hear an evil laugh.
"It's Myotismon!" cries Sora.
"Ha ha ha. You digidestined are no match against me, without your little friend!" laughs Myotistmon.
"Oh yeah, we'll just see about that," shouts Matt, "digivolve you guys!"

"Gabumon, Warp Digivolve to METALGARURUMON!"

"Biyomon, digivolve to Birdramon!"
"Birdramon! Digivolve to GARUDAMON!"

"Tentomon, digivolve to Kabuterimon!"
"Kabuterimon, digivolve to MEGAKABUTERIMON!"

"Palmon, digivolve to Togemon
"Togemon digivolve to LILLYMON!"

"Gomamon, digivolve to Ikkakumon!"
"Ikkakumon, digivolve to ZUDOMON!"

"Patamon digivolve to ANGEMON!"

"Gatomon, digivolve to ANGEWOMON!"

Agumon shouted to them all "Good luck you guys!"
"Hah! These fools can't beat me!" said Myotismon
The digimon all attack at the same time;

"Ice Wolf Snout!"

"Wing Blade!"

"Horn Buster!"

"Flower Cannon!"

"Vulcan's Hammer!"

"Hand of Fate!"

"Celestial Arrow!"

But their attacks missed Myotismon.
"Is that the best you can do?" laughed Myotismon, ""Fools, you will never be able to defeat me! Crism Lightning!"
"Tai please wake up! We need you!" cried Kari, but Tai didn't move.
CRASH!
"No Gatomon!" cried Kari. All the digimon were on the floor in there in-training forms (except for Gotomon). Myotismon had beaten them.
"Sorry Kari, but he's even more powerful than he was before," whispered Gatomon.
"Ha ha ha! You fools! No one can beat me now!" laughed Myotismon.
"What can we do now, " said Sora.
"I don't think there's anything wee can do," answered Izzy.
"Finally I can get rid of you digi-brats, starting with you little girl. Crism Lightning!" cried Myotismon. His attacked was heading straight for Kari.
"Kari!" cried Mimi
"Get out of there!" shouted Izzy
"Run Kari!" screamed TK
"AHHHH! Tai, please help me!" shouted Kari.
"Ha ha ha!" laughed Myotismon. His attacked it just about to hit Kari.
"TAI! HELP ME!" she cries.
Suddenly, a bright light appears and Myotismon stops his attack. He hides himself under his cloak to protect him from the light.
"What is happening down there," he cries.
Kari looks up to see Tai's crest glowing brightly. Then the other crests start to glow.
"What's going on?" asks Kari. Just when things couldn't get any weirder, beams of light from the crests fly towards Tat. The Izzy had an idea.
"It's the prophecy! It's coming true!" he said
"What?" asks Joe
"The prophecy," Izzy says, "When the loved one of the one who suffers is in danger, the powers of those closest to him will give him strength. It's coming true!"
"Now I understand," says Sora, "Tai's loved one is Kari, and because she was in danger, the powers of our crests are helping him."
"Cool!" shouts TK.
"No! This can not be happening!" moans Myotismon. Suddenly, the light turns into a blinding glow. The digimon and the digidestined cover their eyes for protection.
"Now what?" cries Mimi.
The bright glow fades away. Kari opens her eyes and sees infront of her…
"TAI!" she shouts. Standing infront of Kari, is Tai, crest glowing.
"What? How can this be?" cried Myotismon. The others look up and see Tai. A big smile appears on their faces!
"Hey, Myotismon, you're gona pay for hurting my friends, and my sister. Agumon, digivolve!"
"Right!" answered Agumon.
"Agumon! Warp-Digivolve to WarGreymon!"
"Go get him Wargreymon!" shouted Tai.
You'll never beat me!" shouted Myotismon, " Crism Lightning!"
"Tera Force!" Wargreymon produced his most powerful attack and destroyed Myotismon's attack. Myotismon flew out of the cave and disappeared, shouting, "I'll be back, digi-brats!"
Wargreymon de-digivolved to Koromon and the digimon and digidestined started cheering.
Mimi and Joe were doing a funny dance together, Matt was spinning TK around in the air, Izzy was jumping up and down in the air and the digimon were all dancing in one big group. Sora ran up to Tai and hugged him.
"I'm so glad you're alright," she said.
"It's great to be back, Sora," said Tai. The he bent down to Kari.
"So, did you miss me?" he asked.
Kari wiped the tears from her eyes and hugged Tai.
"Oh Tai I was so worried about you!" she said.
"Well I'm back now and I'm never going away again," Tai said.
"I'm glad. I love you Tai." Kari said
"I love you too Kari," Tai replied.
