| OF THE KINGDOM OF NIMROLL'S RISE On the Western shores of Talakar, Was a stronghold of dismal array. Mustering lands by method of force, For that was Kingdom Nimrolls way. Armies were ordered under King Grenwold, And by leadership of Captain Tren, To put down opposers, and claiming as theirs, All from their shores to the Stretches of Sen. For there lay Alboroth, holder of the East, Whom Grenwold feared they could not overcome. Yet, still one by one, all other lands, Before Trens command, had succumbed. Neighboring East lay Hyacil Forest, Which guarded a small village within. So far removed who they there that dwelt, Grenwolds advances were unknown to Seylin. Now, Seylin, their leader, had not harbored for war, So their chances from beginning were grim. The village was plundered and burned to the ground, And Nimroll named all to the Tulsar River's brim. To the South lay Pellora, army-less and small; Villagers of peace, easily accrued by the King. Enslaved under Nimroll, abiding to their rule, Yielding to Grenwold his second conquered wing. Propagating his Campaign further to the East, Past Lake Findrum came his veil of doom, To the lands inhabited by the Horrigran, Seeking not only conquest but Longrans heirloom. Longran their King, possessor of Heiliger Diamant; A fabled sword passed from son to son. This Grenwold desired to have in his power. And thus had the Blood War of the South begun. |
