THE BLOOD WAR OF THE SOUTH -
HORRIGRAN VS NIMROLL

Lake Findrums waters dyed red from blood,
For the first time since the Belefont Tide.
As Grenwolds troops swept over in flood,
None of the Horrigran scouts could hide.
So stepped Nimroll before Longran the Great.
With a captain filled with voracious hate.

East of Oltaire and Dorath in the South,
The army of Horrigran at station there.
Two kingdoms collided at the rivers mouth,
Past Grenwolds ability to revoke his dare.
Through the mask of night the battle yet raged,
Until at last Nimroll had Horrigran caged.

What victorious were left came to Longrans door,
Marching straight to the Great Kings keep.
There Horrigrans best stood to settle the score;
Guard their King and what Grenwold sought to reap:
Heiliger Diamant - The Holy Diamond - in Longrans hand.
One more chance for hope, Horrigrans last stand.

Through the castles halls stalked fearsome Tren,
Sparing not one soldier who barred his way.
With great prowess he slaughtered many and then,
Horrigrans fate took a turn toward grey,
For vis a vis came Captain Tren to the King,
And much devoted malice he did bring.

As Tren burst in, Longran abandoned throne.
And he drew his sword to spar,
To save Horrigran from being overthrown,
By a tyrant lord from afar.
Metal to diamond, their swords came to clash,
Yet each evading his own death in a flash.

Pressing on, they fought, both determined to win,
Desperate to lay the other down in defeat.
Then being dealt a blow so full of sin,
Longran stumbled back into his Kingly seat.
So came to his neck the blade of Tren,
And failure and death he realized then.

Thus, Heiliger Diamant crashed to the ground;
A sword, none fairer nor so grand.
In Captain Tren a new master it found,
As he stood triumphant to claim the land.
So, the Great Blood War came to its defiled end.
And under Nimrolls demand, Talakar itself did bend.
