I stand before the Gates of Time,
Wondering what will happen as I step forward.
All the pain and torment of the world is unknown to me,
All I know is Peace.
I stand upon the path of Life and Death,
Wondering where it goes.
All the pain and torment of the world is before me,
All I know is Fear.
I stand before the gates of Heaven,
Wondering what awaits me there.
All the pain and torment of the world is forgotten,
All I know is Hope.
I watch as my friends and family,
Walk the path before me.
I see them pass through the gates of Heaven,
And await the final moment,
Where we will all be together once more.
All I know is Joy.
