Y Shuichi Shindou: If you haven't figured it out already, Shuichi is the lead vocalist. He is in charge of all of the composing for the group. He frequently gets writers block, but always manages by some miracle, to pop out new songs. His dream, since he was a child, was to become another Nittle Grasper, to become another Ryuichi Sakuma. However, he realizes later, that his goal is really to surpass Nittle Grasper, and he decides to stop emulating them.

Y Hiroshi Nakano: The handsome guitarist for Bad Luck, Hiro has been Shuichi's friend since childhood. Together, they started Bad Luck, and vowed to keep it together through the good times and the bad. At one point, Hiro tries to quit the band, making Shuichi realize even more how much he needed his best friend in order to surpass Nittle Grasper, because Nittle Grasper didn't have a guitarist.

Y Suguru Fujisaki: The youngest member and newest addition to Bad Luck, this synthesizer player can make anything sound good. As Tohma's cousin, his goal is also to surpass Nittle Grasper, and stop living in Tohma's shadow. At first, Shuichi was reluctant to add another member to Bad Luck, but in the end, Suguru was a change for the better, creating a whole new feel to the music that they were performing.
