Forget-Me-Not You made me a promise To stay here by my side Our bond abruptly broke As did my heart inside There's nothing but a flower Wilted and soon to join you This all feels like a joke I no longer know what's true A wilted purple flower On my breast for all to see I keep it as a symbol of what you took from me Yet somehow I am joyful Of the token you have left A forget-me-not to remind me You won't leave me, even in death Angel Why am I still bound here After all the things i've done? Backed up in a corner Closed in so I can't run But a light shines up above me A warm glow of caring love A voice, "I will protect thee" Soft, like the cooing of a dove I know I am protected That you are there for me And I know I can move on While you watch me silently Friend My friend there's nothing more beautiful than to see you smile to hear you laugh to know it was because of me Dirty I can feel the sins of all upon my backl Their dirty deeds wash over my body and the dirt won't come off There's too much of it Too many are tainted They refuse to clense themselves They turn their backs to their problems ?but I can see them clearly The sins may not be mine, but I feel them Their sins and deciet consume me ~@~~@~~@~~@~~@~~@~~@~~@~ For my boyfriend You are the treasure i've been searching for The missing piece of me You are the rare blue rose that I adore Your love sets me free |
