| Sirens are basically the same thing as Mermaids the only difference is they lure lost sailors or Captains to their death by their singing. They sing so beautifully that no man or women can resist but go to them. Actually to tell you the truth nobody is really sure what happens to the person that they tried to lure to them because they never come back. Since they don't come back the spouses and family assume that the person is dead but there has been many diffrent theories to this some people believe that they marry the man that they lure to them with their extradorinary singing. Others believe what the fairy tales tell about them killing the man they lure to them. Sirens also live behind the mists as you will see most of these mystical creatures do but they also live in the Bermuda Triangle and not the big one but the tiny one theat nobody really knows is there unless they have researched the Bermuda Triangle. Personally I think that's why nobody comes out of the Bermuda Triangle. :) Sirens just like mermaids have the same symbol of sitting on a rock brushing their long golden hair with a shell handled brush. This also is the internation symbol of Sirens. Sirens are one of the most dangerous mystical creatures that live in the sea because nobody knows what they do to the people. |
