| The Pheonix is a gorgeous Arabian bird. Meaning the bird of fire this bird is of only myth nobody has actually seen this bird. In ancient Egypt the Pheonix represented the sun which dies in its own fire every night and rose from the ashes each morning. This mythological context saw this bird as a heron however classic literature shows this bird to be a peacock, or Eagle. Only one Phoenix lived at a time. this bird representing the sun also symbolized the God of sun Ra- Atum. Phoenix's live near cool wells or ponds, so it can bath in the cool waters. This bird had such a beautiful voice that the sun God would stop his chariot to listen. Not knowing if this bird actuall existed there is not alot of information, on it. However if you have any more info please e-mail me. If this bird was truly alive at one time it would have been alive in the Ancient Egyptian times. This bird was a carrier for the Sun God. The colors mostly being red or oranges it's a beautiful bird and kind willing to help all that need |
