Recently I was told that my site would not be awarded an award I had applied for becuase it openly relates to Wicca.  At first I was very angry because I have never really run into this type of prejudice I am very open about my religion but everyone has been fine with it until now and when I thought about it I realized there are narrow minded people out there that don't know how to think outside the box and at least I know that people are created equally and that's all that matters but if these narrow minded people continuley think about how different wiccans are from them than the burning times may be just around the corner. And I think this poem states this perfectly.
We are Americans and we are Pagan and proud of it!

"We are not evil. We don't harm or seduce people. We are not dangerous. We are ordinary people like you. We have families, jobs, hopes, and dreams. We are not a cult. This religion is not a joke. We are not what you think we are from looking at TV. We are real. We laugh, we cry. We are serious. We have a sense of humor. You don't have to be afraid of us. We don't want to convert you. And please don't try to convert us. Just give us the same right we give you -- to live in peace. We are much more similar to you than you think."
