The conspicous dress serves as protection from birds of prey if it was not for the traditional peaked hat that all gnomes wear they could easily be mistaken for a mouse of some kind.
The Male: The facial coloring on a male Gnome is fair but with round red cheeks, especially in old age. He has a full beard that becomes grey long before his hair does. The nose is straight or turned upright. The eyes are generally grey with a little twinkle in each one. The clothing of a male is of course first the traditional peaked red hat, blue smock and brown-green pant. The footwear consits of felt boots, shoes of birch bark, or wooden clogs. Accessories is and always will be the same for every male Gnome: leather belt with a tool kit which consists of; a knife, hammer, drill, files, etc.
The Female: The complexion and features of the face are the same as the male gnome however the female has a substantial boso, decreased gravity allows her to go throughlife unencumbered by a brassiere. Her clothing is much different from a male's the female Gnome wears a blouse, skirt to her ankles, and black-grey knee socks her shoes are high shoes or slippers. The female Gnome wears basically all dark clothing grey to khaki clothing. Until she is married she wears a green peaked hat with her braids stinking out to the sides. When the femal Gnome gets married her hair dissapears under a scarf and darker colored hat. The adult male Gnome usually weighs 300 grams, and the female, 250-275 grams. The height is usually 15 cm maybe a little bigger. |
