| SSit in silence, watch the room, It plays, it talks, it hurts� With minds so quick� and fingers nimble, it can show us how we feel Some are lifted and helped to soar While for some barbs shoot out and cut till raw A word of love, a flirting mistress A game that�s played by all that witness Hugs and kisses come one day the next day �my god your on ignore hammer�s relished .that bring kicks and bans hurting some� just cause they can Real life echo�s in torturous tunes the weak are hurt and the stronger boom feeling helpless as you hear the tears your words no weapons for the pain and fears Fitting in is what they seek but in this world it�s never for keeps one day a friend the next day foe the hackers come and they never go.. Some run off� never again seen others fight to keep it clean The play is fun, it can bring smiles But a wrong word here and your kicked for miles But again we seek out the room Our friends are here, or will be soon The addiction is set� it cant be broke God this is too much � I need a smoke. Late at night , I say good bye It takes an hour , god knows why I leave my room, which keeps me safe When this world out side�..is full of hate. Next morning comes�.I�m online again My friends are there, and I think.. am I sane?, Now I have a home where I feel at ease And can run from this world, when ever I please. I turn off my PC, and re-enter my world But, in the back of my mind, I hear the room call. Never far from thought, nor an action I take. I know that this room, has become part of my fate. Entwined in my mind, emotions discovered A journey I have taken, to move amongst others As this room turns into a fantasy playground I learn lesson I need, while a new faith surrounds Never the same will I walk in my mind With memories of couches, macros and smiles As much as it can hurt me , this room I call home has helped me find me�. now I don�t feel so alone �Geni-inaBottle 10/2000 |
