WILL OF WILLIAM SPRENKEL


ADAMS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA; 1863

I William Sprenkel of Hamiltonban township & Adams County do publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me heretofore made. And 1st I direct that my funeral Expenses, and all my just debts be paid as soon as possible, out of the first moneys that shall come into the hands of my Executors out of my portion of my estate personal or real, 2- I give and bequeth to my beloved wife Elizabeth (after my debts are paid) all my personal property, to do with and dispose of, as she sees proper during her natural life, and should any part thereof remain at her death, then it is my will and wish, that it be sold by my Executors, and the procedes arising therefrom be devided among all my Children share and share alike; named as follows viz:: Isaac - Caroline Entermarried with Creager Georg Wortly - William - Isaiah - Malinda - Ann Elizabeth - and Osker.

3- I allso give and beqath to my wife afore named during her life or as long as she remains my widow all the real Estate of which I may die leased and so rented together with all the receipts arising therefrom but I do not allow her to sell the same or any part thereof, unless from necessity; and in the event of her death or marage, then it is my will and desire that all my real Estate be Sold by my Executors, to the best advantage and the procedes arising from the Sale thereof be devided equaly among all my Children above named Share and Share alike

And lastly I do hereby make and ordain my two Sons, Isaac Sprenkel, and William Sprenkel Executors of this my Last will and Testiment. In witness whereof, I William Sprenkel the testator, have to this my last will written on one sheet of paper, Set my hand and Seal, this the twelft day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and fifty two 1852.

INVENTORY OF WILLIAM SPRENKEL


A true and perfect Inventory and Just appraisement of all and singular of the goods and chattels, rights and credits ________ of William Sprenkle late of the township of Hamiltonban in the county of Adams and State of Pennsylvania, farmer deceased, at the time of his death to wit,

We the undersigned do believe that the above is a true and faithful appraisement of the goods and chattels of William Sprenkle deceased done the 28th day of November 1863.
