From Adam Ryder of Fort Loudon, Pa., His Ancestors & His Descendents


I Michael Reiter of Calico Township in ye County of Lancaster Yeoman; being weak in Body; but of sound mind and Memory, blaessed be God, Do this Eighth day of June in ye Year One Thousand Seven hundred & Fifty Seven make and Publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) IMPRIMIS it is my Will & I do Order that in ye first place, all my just debts and Funeral Charges be paid & Satisfied. ITEM I give, devise and bequeath unto Agnes my beloved Wife and to her heirs and Assigns one Third part of my whole Estate both real and personal, for Ever, and one Kettle, two Iron Potts; A Spinning Wheele, a Feather Bed, two pewter Basons; two Plates a Cow a Hive of Bees and all her Cloeths and Linnen, as also my Bible & one other book call'd, True Christendom. ITEM Igive, devise and Bequeath to my Son, Jacob and to his heirs and Assans all that tract of Land, whereon he lives, Containing One Hundred and Ywenty acres for Ever; ITEM I give and Bequeath to my Grand Daughter Elizabeth, one Cowe, a Feather bed a Spinning Wheele and a hive of Bees; ITEM I devise and bequeath all that Plantation and Tract of Land whereon I live to my Said Wife Agnes & to my Son Jacob & to my Daughter Elizabeth the wife of Nicholas Ream to hold to them and their heira and Assigns forever equally; ITEM the remainder of my personal Estate I oreder to be equally divided between my Son Jacob and my Daughter Elizabeth, I do likewise Constitute make and Ordain my said Wife Agnes, my only & Sole Executrix of this my Last Will & Testament & I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disannull all and every other former Testament, Wills legacies & Exes by me in any wise before this time named Will'd and Bequeathed, ratifying and Confirming this to be my last Will and Testament IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal the day & Year above Written.
